  1. what ever they do its going to be 2 steps back before they can go forward.
  2. thats what I'm talking about, i did for 8 yrs always had 2nd hand equipment, used to buy my 2nd hand tyre's of Collins and Morton when was at belle vue., 1st time i ever had a new set of leathers , was my last year at Boston, when they closed down , couple of years before that was riding for Barrow when they closed down, during my time broke my arm both my wrists, and bust my knee ( which now I'm waiting for a new one 😁, ) also knocked unconscious twice. i didn't start riding a bike till 18, 1st bike i rode was a jap, in fact i think i was probably one of the last people to ride a jap in a proper 2nd, half at Castleford, that place also closed down while i was there. i rode where i could when i could,, I'm guessing i probably had as much track time in 8yrs as you did in 2yrs, but i gave it my best with the money i had. i would call that some kind of love for the sport. its probably because people like us not being around today that the sport is suffering.
  3. i do fully understand that, i used to ride myself, but never made any money. and back in the day for every 20 of me probably only 5 made a living out of it.and when i mean a living they would still need a job in the winter. those in Doyles position probably 200 + full time . my point was he's near end of his career, and he might last longer with not as many meetings. but still make enough money, we all know your only a split second from serious injury. i suppose its all about the odds. and let me tell you you have to love it more when you dont make any money, and still do it.
  4. like zagar ,but he's now known for slowing down when at the back, does it in Poland. clutches aren't rocket science.
  5. im sure she was on a belle vue stream couple of weeks ago , never heard what was said.
  6. if its one league all gp riders will have to go. cant expect smaller clubs to have any.
  7. got to be , and the bigger clubs need to look after the smaller ones to try regrow it.
  8. next season , dont think anybody has a clue what's going to happen next season
  9. you will still see some good racing, vuolas will have something to prove.
  10. love the adverts from HMRC, saying beware of scammers, they are the biggest scammers going.🤣
  11. that statement doesn't make any sense. He wasn't slow in his semi.
