  1. Did you not look at the scores on Saturday night ? Morley rode well.
  2. Was thinking exactly the same thing last night.
  3. Will Heeps want to come back to Britain after the season he has had? By all accounts he is on the floor at the moment, and no decent equipment. Depends how determined he is. Would have Robbo and Rob back like a flash, but am up in the air about Kennett. He does make us very top heavy, and it hasnt worked these last two seasons. If he is kept, you need to be very shrewd with your other signings, riders that are going to improve, not stay static on their average and for that reason, Lanham is a no, Lykke yes, if at reserve. Morley probably a no. I am no expert, but I feel more strength in depth is better than what we have now. And please please please, a new team manager !
  4. A lot of this is speculation, although based on some fairly hard facts. I was just peed off that three of the team busted a gut to try and get us through, and one seemed not to. As most of the other riders in the other teams were giving it 100%, this made it even more annoying, especially as 5 points would have got us through.
  5. Is that £163 plus points money or just £163? If its the latter, that seems ludicrously low.
  6. Really disappointed with Ed yesterday, didnt look interested. Missed the gate every time and just rode round. The others all gave everything, and would have got through if Ed had given as much effort. Anyone know any reason ? Well done Robbo, brilliant riding and a fantastic heat win for Leigh. Cam never gave up either.
  7. He did look totally unbeatable until then, so maybe ! Another enjoyable meeting for me, despite the holdups. Didnt really expect a win so for me that was a bonus, and considering the chavball was on the telly, a half decent crowd. A couple of riders were off colour, be good to see them all fire at the same time, but heyho. For me though, speedway has become enjoyable again, and although I am an hour and a half away, and live closer to Ippo, me and the other half wouldnt go anywhere else for the weekly fix. Onwards and upwards !
  8. Other than the issues pointed out by Danny, its a well thought out plan, and for me, worth some exploring. Something needs doing, and fairly qiuckly. An independant ruling body is very important too, in my eyes.
  9. First time back for me in nearly four years, and I went home buzzing too. Yes, its a bit of a bombsite, but the track is ten times better as was the atmosphere, and the crowd was definitely up too. There was a lot of rot for the new owners to stop, and for me, they have made a great start. I will be back on Saturday, I have the bug again.
  10. Always difficult to do this, but I reckon he was miles better than anyone around today. Always awesome in test matches, especially against the Yanks. As an Ipswich fan, we always hated him, but you couldnt but respect his talent.
  11. Democracy? Just a thought. Kings Lynn are the blue eyed boys of speedway at the moment, having bailed the BSPA out of the cart in the Elite League. If Kings Lynn say Mildy dont run.............then Mildy dont run. Over the recent weeks, the sport has been full of conspiracy theories......maybe I am seeing them where they dont exist........but something smells rotten.
  12. Difficult to tell from the statement. Whilst its great to have the Hawks back, it beggars belief that a nomad team like this can be welcomed into the fold, whilst a team with its own track, Mildenhall, is blocked.
  13. Total disgrace.......does the BSPA/Morrish actually want a National League? Beyond belief!
