We’re all very disappointed that Razza’s gone, he had some great races round DP and has a very likeable character. It’s hard for riders to turn down money though if nothing was signed.

He will notice a change having ridden for two comparitively local tracks. Now if Newcastle were to go up, ideal for him, or the Comets, better still, but unlikely.

Getting back to Simon Lambert, he rode well here last time he came, I know he hasn't done well away from reserve at Peterboro, maybe a change would do him good, maybe not. There's always riders who do better than expected and vice versa. If it is him lets give the lad a chance, the club will be unlikely to go back on a deal they may have made.

I’ve noticed the Comets headline on back of Times And Star is larger than the Reds one which is above it. Nothing against the Reds but good and deserved, as is more support next season.

Without looking back, I think THJ gave that impression, maybe Mason would be surprised too. Having said that if most of them are going to be around the same average then maybe, roll on the next one.. S. Worral has been mentioned elsewhere in relation to the Comets..

I thought we’d be back after Laura said no need to feel pessimistic at the do. Thought Dan was a bit evasive about coming back though, whatever hope he recovers well from his injury.

Didn't mean to be salty (or sarky), your'e right about the geography, having the PLRC at Glasgow that year was a nightmare for fans of Ipswich. The fact that you can go up is just another reason why the sport should never be compared to football, as I said good luck and I hope Scott is back at Ipswich..

Yeh good news, 38 points a big drop from what it was. Thought it would have been 6 man teams, glad it’s not.

It depends what people want to spend money on, 20 fags about a tenner, 4 pints up town about fifteen quid. In that context sixteen quid for speedway is ok, it’s getting people in and coming back again that is the problem.

The meeting postponed after Dan's injury, in the 3rd heat, was 25th August. This I believe was the original date for the meeting.

Rumours seem to point to 6 man teams, time will tell, surely something has to change though.
