glasgow are the new somerset .win at all cost . anyhow , the season is nearly with us and i MAY turn my attention further south . but at the mo , its just nice to keep you lot on yer toes / throw as many insults as you want , it keeps the forum ticking over . maybe i am a wee bit jealous of the bank balance of the glasgow promotion . i think anyone that has the financial clout that glasgow have do deserve something for all that hard earned money that the faccinas (spelling ) have put into the club . i would like to see the tigers win the league/cup/pairs/fours and the plrc , thats one you should win with the home track advantage at least . so live with being the favorites for the title and hope one of em sticks to you . but its speedway , anything can happen .. and usually does ..

not unless something happens transport wise . havent been to an away track for a few years now . i would like to go , but the transport situation is very iffy . we used to go to redcar , berwick and Newcastle in the 2nd era of workington without fail . made a couple of trips to scunny (quiblle ? park ) even boston ! to name but a few .. i fear those days have long gone . but if i ever get the chance , i will be there and i will let you know ...... not long to go now.

just thought the fan was getting mixed up with the northern teams taking part in the speedway launch and the Glasgow p/p day . there , easy when you read it twice/three times innit .

i dont think it a practice day , just a PRESS day. it has happened at Newcastle in the past with four teams represented by 2 riders . they have a photo shoot/interview and the have a wee run around the track . just an awareness thing to make people know that speedway is just around the corner . newcastle,workington , berwick and redcar ........... the only other thing i can think of is its the hob knobs upmarket way of doing things at one of the football stadiums ... glasgow , i BELIEVE are not one of the 4 teams involved in the day at newcastle .. unless they would like to pay to gain a spot of course .. waiting !.
