i think this result is reliant on what kyle turns up . last years kyle turns up and worky win . and if steady gets past bend 2 . should be a good meeting (sunshine = slick track )

so i take it we were poor and Plymouth were a little bit better . great comments from the home fans , but why was there NO post in the pl section of the bsf before the meeting took place . not one singe person willing to kick it off and lo and behold when they win , the away team gets a slag off the devils supporters .. i take it no one was brave enough to start a thread . just in case they got a drubbing . i would have thought out of the 50 ish fans that Plymouth have , one of them could have started something offon the bsf . . anyhow , we were tat , but you were not . end of .. we live with failure , we have had plenty of practice at it ..lol.

feeling sorry for seb and the bandits team . not a great season at the moment for them . bates seems to make his own problems ! but still wish him a good recovery . sheff at worky tonight, was looking forward to seeing young bates as last time he came up he only got to the 3rd bend . thats farther than steady tho , he only got to the 2nd bend .

at the moment , all 7 worky riders . hansen and williamson paired together . no other names mentioned at the moment . more news during the week on riders . . it is going to be a mixture of experienced riders , paired with up and coming youngsters . cookie was going to come , but if he got injured peterborough would only be able to use a 3 point rider the following day . so fair play to craig . i would like to see dan bewley and B.W.D at the pairs . 2 real triers ..

workington holding a pears meeting at deterrent park this Saturday . while berk wick are putting their lads through a practice session on Saturday i do BELIEVE . lost money for the berk wick riders if this is correct . so come along and see some racing at worky and not a practice session at berk wick . details to be announced on the unofficial/official site . forgot to add , bring your own apples ..

why cant speedway be like football , have regular meetings on regular days of the week ? whoops , hang on . football , regular ? maybe not . lets stick to the guessing game called the fixture list . at least you know whats coming, or do you ?

i dont know about the somerset bug , more like a flu bug standing out in the cold in these early season meetings . would love to see a meeting without being all wrapped up like a christmas present .. maybe in august we will be able to enjoy meetings in our summer clothes . cant off load campton as he is classed as a new rider and has come in on an assessed average . (i think he was averaging over that , maybe not now ). teams are not allowed to drop assessed riders this season .. maybe less kebabs and junky stuff will do him good . come on mason , show us what you can do ... we know you can do better .. another honest post by me .....

i think a small amount of the blame has to fall with the fixture list and how it pans out . why start the season in march , have a few meetings and then (we) have a 3 week waiting time for our next meeting at home and now (at this moment in time) we dont have one the following Saturday . is there that much of a rider shortage that at a certain time in the season our riders are riding for different clubs . speedway is a summer sport , so lets start it in the summer season and compact it into an Adrenalin powered blast . keep all those gp qualifiers ect for the top guys and let the pl and nl get on with entertain g fans . fans in big coats cant get excited abut the sport , all wrapped up like a mommy . still trying to be nice .
