first of all we had the ambulance thig at workington , where it was reported that the nearest ambulance was 66 MILES away . when it turned out to be MINATES. .. could have been 66 SMILES away. then we had the doctor at berwick who turned out to be drunk and a high profile rider blasting it all over the internet. still not sure who was drunk doc, medic os richard for letting it be common knowledge.. now we have robbo reported to have a broken pelvis, 2 broken vertibre .. put on the forum by a fan who turns out to be a doctor , NOT. such stories are pure speculation and should be in the joke section. (as this post will be put ther by the mod and rockers)..what ever next, a man on the moon. what do yer mean, its been done..

floodlight failure, waterlogged track, electrical failure, medical cover and that health and safety issue its part of speedway. you have just got to take it on the chin. i understand travelling fans getting the hump.. as me2 says its a lot of cash paid out not to see a full meeting.. . but seemingly the monarchs fans were quite happy to see 1 more race and call it a day. i was a very unfortunate set of circumstances tha workington speedway found them selves in on saturday.could happen next week, year or never again.we all know what cover there is at armadale. . just hope no one is put in the same position as workington were on saturday.. .. -

OH, LOOK. KYLE WITHDREW AT TONIGHTS MEETING V PANTHERS. OLD ANKLE INJURY SUFFERED ON SATURDAY PLAYING UP. oops just seen capsl go on then , whats an old fiddle smell like. the answer to your second line is,, when drugs are given to a person by the medical staff. they have to be accompanied in the AMBULANCE by the medical staff.the doctor assumes ALL responsabilty untill the patient in handed over to a/e. i once twisted my ankle and done ligaments. i also went to hospital in a car. the diff is , i was not on drugs. yuou obviously are..lol. -

i take it you are talking about dr butler who was or maybe still is part, if not the senior medic at. CADRIFF. .we have the pleasure of himself and his team on hand at workington. kyle was given drugs for the pain he was in and in accordance of the medical rules, the patient was not to be left alone under any circumstances. ok , so people say it was ONLY ankle ligaments and a hand injury. but the pain was sufficient to administer drugs.-the health of the patient is in the hands of the doctor at all times, untill he is handed over the the local A/E hospital... if human beings were classed as parcels, kyle would have been wheeled up to the hospital and left on the door step and hope and preysome one would see him.. there are procedures to go througe when handing a patient,.what drugs/medication they are on andd so forth.cant really understand all this neg about a meeting being cancelled. if 1 of your familt was taken ill at a meeting . then would you want to wait for an ambulance to take them to hospital.. there are only certain people who cant seem to grab this.. mainly the visiting fans.. -

tony jackson was on look north tonight giving the reasons to calling off the meeting.. all promoters and teams/ref were in agreement. the only people who thought the meeting should carry on were the visiting fans , who were thinking it was some kind of scam by workington about the unfortunate ambulance thing... -
