its not the number of rods i go through , its the numbers of hooks and line i lose. when you get a bigger fish than expected the line breaks on one of the hooks . but its a sport i like and as you know gaz , its very enjoyable and costs very little . why dont you give it a try gaz or do you do the magnet fishing thing ?

got to admit , i had to look up the word luddites . but oh so true about the nuggets who run U.K. speedway .
