  1. Not according to the official site at time of writing. 2025 Season Fixtures - Berwick Bandits Speedway
  2. Update via Danyon Hume Racing. Hey guys, Just wanted to update everyone on how Danyon is doing, unfortunately Danyon has fractured his back in two places and we are now awaiting further updates from the doctor as to whether or not Danyon needs surgery. We would both like to thank everyone, all Berwick management, the track staff, ambulance crew, our friends, family and all the fans at Berwick speedway, everyone rallied around and helped with everything. Obviously the news isn’t what we want but we are thinkings positive at the moment. Thanks again everyone. Jade x
  3. Posted on the Berwick site this morning. https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/sunday-update-2/
  4. Meeting over after Ht12 with a Berwick win. Best wishes to Danyon Hume.
  5. Bears star Erik Riss has been forced to take a break from racing due to a reoccurrence of the health issues that blighted him in 2023. We wish Erik all the best and look forward to having him back when he can overcome the issues. Erik made the following statement on his social media It is with deep regret that I have to announce that I am withdrawing from the Long Track GP in Mühldorf this weekend, and also having to take a break from racing for now. Unfortunately, since last Sunday, I’m experiencing a recurrence of previous health issues which are causing severe discomfort and are impeding my vision. I am currently in the process of seeing various medical professionals, with the hope of finding answers so that I can receive the appropriate treatments and return to racing soon.
  6. If this is a visa issue then a seven day suspension was never going to be enough, I would think another seven day suspension could be equally problematic .

  8. In their Berrington Lough days, Berwick had a double decker every Saturday night, it was virtually empty on virtually every occasion.
  9. I`ve said for many seasons that nobody should be paying more than £15 at Championship level, £1 per race seems about right to me. You get the feeling with some promotions know that they have a hard chore of customers who they know will turn up pretty much every week and are quite happy to screw them every season with ever increasing admission prices. Cost is an issue, as is irregular racing, its very easy to find other things to do on a race night.
  10. If the management have been blind sided as you suggest, then they shouldn't be management.
  11. Visa issues will take way more than seven days to sort out, team changes to navigate around visa issues however could be done in way less time.
  12. 𝗕𝗦𝗣 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗔𝗬 Within the last 48 hours the Directors of British Speedway Promoters Ltd have become aware of administrative issues that must be resolved before Workington Speedway can compete again. A seven-day suspension of membership has been imposed on Workington Speedway to give them time to overcome these issues. Said BSP Chairman, Rob Godfrey: “We are happy with the progress being made by the Club in sorting these issues and I anticipate that there will be a speedy resumption to racing at Workington.” The suspension does mean that Workington’s matches at Berwick on June 28, Oxford on July 2 and Redcar on July 4 will be postponed.

  14. Without being hypo sceptical, a huge shake up for the sport has been promised for many a year, promised but as yet not delivered. Though to be fair its difficult for the decision makers to see the problems when your head is buried in the sand.
  15. Thoughts with the Birmingham fans at this difficult time. Maybe he was signed as he still has his Brummies kevlars in the workshop, whether he can still fit in them is another matter.
