  3. Not good, seen Crumpy do the same first hand on 4 occassions!
  4. Do you think this Sunday may be used in the event of rained off matches Mateusz?
  5. I heard it at Vojens & Terrenzano too and couldn't get it out my head for hours! Sadly can't help you with any info regarding it but would also love to know more if anyone can shed any light on it.....
  6. Excellent idea Mateusz! Just sent you a FB msg for 40 Scottish which includes Midnight Lady and Sunrise! My party has increased to 40 now but I can take no more! It's going to be some party with the Poles n Scots in full flight!
  7. Fingersfin, Mateusz will no doubt give you a top response as per usual but here is my 2 bobs worth based on 5 previous GPs at Bydgoszcz. 1. For gates opening - usually 3pm if I remember correctly. 2. You can buy beer in dedicated areas behind the 3rd bend, not allowed out of this area. I have sneaked bevy in twice but also been caught once. So it's worth the gamble..... 3. I have never had a problem in the Polonia Stadium, worship TG, join in the singing / chanting and all will be well!
  8. Mateusz has just posted on his facebook page that an additional 3636 tickets will be available for Bydgoszcz. From the stadium plan it looks like 6 temporary stands will be built, 3 on the back straight behind sektor b, 1 on the third bend entrance and 2 on the exit of the fourth bend.
  9. Made my first trip to Vojens on Saturday and enjoyed it thoroughly. The racing I felt was much better than I expected after years of seeing the track on the box. Tomek was majestic and surely nothing can stop him now. A downside was watching Crump knocking back some kids for an autograph - 2 hours before the start of the GP! Andersen, Hancock, Jonsson and Lindgren all stopped when asked (bout 30 mins before the GP) but Crump couldn't even offer a wave just a flat hand knock back. Poor stuff.
  10. Spot on chief. There is no way guys like Tomek, Crumpie & Hampel could live with talents such as Mathieu Tresarrieu, Chris Schramm, Ludvig Lindgren, Willie Lawson, Filip Sitera etc etc, the teams they race against in Poland & Sweden need beefed up with some of these talents to ensure that they become true world champions
  11. What a load of BS. Look at the last 13 GPs - Gollob has made 9 finals and would have been 10 if he had not had the EF at Cardiff. So looking at the 3 Grand Prix that he has not made the finals can you tell me the tracks? Well.....2 in Poland for a start so that rams your logic behind home advantage! Bydgoszcz 09, Leszno 10 and Vojens 09 are the in addition to Cardiff 10 that he did not make the final in. I'm sure if you rewatch these 13 GPs you will probably count 40+ overtakes from Gollob, he got one wrong last night - it's done and dusted he was excluded, time to move on....nothing to see here!
  12. Every GP Gollob leads the way on the excitement levels, pass after pass - usually perfectly executed and dramatic.....exactly what every punter wants to see! Tonight he times one wrong and knocks a rider off, gets excluded - whats the problem? Glad to see it didn't affect his attitude when he passed Crump & Lindgren and then Lingdren again in the final. 5 points clear, the dream is drawing closer. On a side note - really gutted for Bydgoszcz and the troops! Hopefully some kind of minor miracle can happen to keep them up!
  13. Popping to Gniezno on Thursday for an Under 21 meeting at the recommendation of the legend that is Mama. Glad to see only good things written about the track / town here. Looking forward to it.
  14. Got my coachload of 38 going to this fixture now and have an amount of spare seats. Anyone wishing to go to the fixture should PM for details. We will be leaving our Bydgoszcz hotel at 1030 and I have a number to call to sort out the exact amount of tickets we need whilst en route! Cost of coach will be 30pln per person with the match ticket expected to cost between 15-20pln. As I said - any takers, PM me! Already: Lord Rocket x 6 Bruno x 3 Goldmember06 x 7 Robolots x 9 Bradford Ace x 1 Hardtobeat x 3 Still enough for another 6 if anyone is interested.
  15. My recent run of "great" luck has continued............Flight changed so missed GP Challenge last year but I least I made it to Germany for the last "GP" of the season enjoyed the world cup final this year - on video after flying home during the re-staging after being there the night before! Had 38 tickets for this, coach booked etc. I'm jinxed.
  16. I will be taking a bus from my hotel in Bydgoszcz to Torun departing 1200 (tapes up 1800) returning to the hotel after the meeting. I have 10 spaces on the coach and the cost for return travel will be 20pln. Any takers should PM me for details of our leaving point.
  17. Spoke to somebody at the club on Friday and he assured me it was still to early to even consider selling tickets! He actually said it may not be until 72 hours before the match that tickets go on sale. How many promoters in the world have had the luxury of a sure fire sell out like this!!!

  19. As far as I know Czestochowa are at home first because Torun have a higher seeding (First place in the League standings after 14 rounds). Zielona Gora hold the second seeded spot so it's fair to say the 2nd leg of the Final will either be Torun v. Zielona Gora -or- Zielona Gora v. Czestochowa (apologies to Matuesz, Mama etc for writing off Bydgoszcz's chances!).

  21. Has anyone seen an announcement regarding the Wild Card / Reserves? I see that Speedwaygp.com lists these for the next again GP in Sweden but I cannot recall any article regarding this Saturday.
  22. The flag will be there Matty! On Thursday we are in the cheapest section which is the £2.70 standing, at the final we have plumped for the "Super VIP" package which I believe includes a free bar The parade sounds good, we will look out for you at that! Does the programme of events include a practice for the final on Friday afternoon? Cheers mate
  23. 3 of us going from Edinburgh on Thursday morning. Does anyone know if there is a similar website to the one created for the 2007 SWC at http://swc.leszno.pl/ I was interested in finding out if there was any Cycle Speedway planned on either the Friday or the Saturday afternoon. Don't suppose anyone knows?
