Having a good man on the mic won't bring the crowds flooding back. The racing needs to be better and closer. I watched 2 heats of Young Stars v Stoke last week it was terrible. The leader was the length of the straight ahead of last place.

A few years ago D Norris went from the pit to the startline with 1 finger in the air to the crowd at Kings Lynn. The crowd hated him but he created an atmosphere. Shane Parker once walked the track and shook fans hands after the meeting at Lynn. He also stole the tractor at Ipswich to grade his start position. Speedway needs people like them so fans have something to remember from there night out even if the racing is poor it gives them something to talk about. No controversy means a quite crowd. A quite crowd means no atmosphere. The riders could do more to get fans involved but it seems riders are only interested in their pay cheque.

I think speedway is more boring now than it was 20 years ago. There are no riders that the fans love to hate no atmosphere and I can't remember the last really good meeting I've seen. I have seen some good races but you don't get many in a meeting.

If riders still get payed for bonus points its a pity Iversen didn't help Rob Lambert in heat 13.

A win for the Stars but letting Coventry take a point is disappointing. Stars need to up there game before Poole come in a fortnight. Hope Rory and Kacper are fit again soon as it looked a really bad crash.

I hope the Stars aren't going to get rid of Huckenbeck. Him and Niels are the only two who have performed well so far.

Never mind when will speedway learn. When will Mildenhall learn ? I know people who stopped going there years ago because of the time it took to complete meetings. It seems nothing has changed the track is still crap.

Forecast for tomorrow isn't to great but Kings Lynn haven't postponed tomorrow's Young Stars meeting yet.

This is speedway. Most things that go on within the sport are odd.

Can't believe tomorrow's meeting is cancelled. It's only the third week of the season. Every year we struggle to fit all the meetings in and have to run them in the bad weather at the end of season. What the hell is going on?

Will this meeting now be switched to the Stars proper race night Thursday?

So is the meeting still on or has that been postponed?

After last nights result I don't think the crowd will be very big on Monday for the visit of Coventry. I will be at home watching on Sky.

Poor result for Stars. Reserves look very weak Rory doesn't seem up to speed Lambert and Mads weren't as sharp as normal. God help us when Niels leaves.

Nothing less than all the league points against the aces will be good enough.

Good win for the Stars. The racing wasn't great and not much to get excited about. Nice to see home riders doing an extra lap after winning a race.

Lakeside are not as bad as some think. They are worse.

Can't see Batchelor going elsewhere as he isn't fit.

Who do Stars need a guest for is someone missing from the team.

So we didn't sign K Bjerre and that's a relief. Now let's get behind the team and hopefully we will have a good season.

Looks to me that Huckenbeck is in team and S Lambert will be number 8.

Could it be Martin Smolinski .

I hope we haven't waited all winter and lost Lewis Kerr just to sign Bjarne Pedersen who is past his best.

Surely we didn't change race nights and lose Lewis Kerr just to be as weak as Leicester.

Simon Lambert is a good signing he is the best we could hope for after losing Kerr.
