Looking forward to the first home meeting for the Stars. Should be an easy home win. Let's stop the moaning and wait to see what sort of show we have tomorrow. If nothing has changed from last year then people can moan.
I take it Kings Lynn speedway club haven't any interest in the Young Stars as there isn't a mention of tonight's meeting on the Stars website. No team news or anything else.
The curse of Laurence Rogers strikes again. Every team he has a hand in ends up in a mess. Wonder how long Plymouth will last with him there. Feel sorry for all the Bees fans and riders.
Good luck to Josh Bailey for this season. But I can't help worrying that when the going gets tough he is going to struggle due to his size. I fear he will spend more time off the bike than on it.
Isn't it about time the Stars named there number 7 ? The longer they wait to sign someone the less riders there will be to pick from and there isn't too many left.
Bill Barker signed Henka in place of Lance King. Barker then quit halfway through the season after the Commonwealth Final takings were stolen from his house. Buster then bought the club off him.
Speedway started to decline when the riders stopped interacting with the fans. My son adored Tom Topinka from a very young age. We have photos of him on Topinkas bike and Tom holding him sitting on the fence at Lynn. Riders don't seem to have time for fans anymore.
I don't understand what all the fuss is about. People don't have to read the article in the Bournmouth Echo if they don't want to. I am pleased that Holder has signed for the Stars. And I don't care what GRW 123 thinks about me.
