  1. As i stated quite clearly i don't have a 'purpose'.I have pointed out a few times before i am absolutely no fan of Hancock.Try again
  2. Regulation 077.3.3 of FIM Grand Prix World Championship states - "A rider who has entered the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship and refuses or is unable to take part, is deemed to be suspended competing internationally for a period of 1 day before and up to 3 days after the Grand Prix meetings concerned. Furthermore, he shall be considered as ineligible for the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship for the remainder of the season. A rider who has started in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship must participate therein unless prevented from doing so by injury or other force majeure. A suitably qualified medical practitioner must certify injury or illness in writing to that effect." Far be it for me to have a say,as i really don't care too much, but i think this ruling is specifically for the chosen riders at the start of the season. To stop someone being picked and then pulling out.Ok,the second sentence is obviously then for those who have "started" the GP season.Hancock started and just pulled out of the last meeting.Think you will all be arguing the toss on your own on this. The FIM had people at the meeting and doubt there will be any other decision as i guess you have to put in a protest within the relevant time and no-one did
  3. Ffs one of the riders who is the epitomy of 'meh' is KK!!!!! Been 'meh' far longer and more often than Janowski, that is for sure
  4. I'd like to say that i am one fan in Germany who doesn't share that opinion
  5. http://www.norrteljetidning.se/motor/speedway/rospiggarna-kan-bli-bast-i-varlden-i-dubai
  6. Not even sure Austria have enough riders for a team now.I asked about how many Austrian riders they have and the answer was the 2 riding in the UK plus a couple of juniors
  7. Sid,you talked about your top 10.You've either gt one,so put it up or you haven't.No big deal, just admit you haven't.I don't compile top 10s and never said i did
  8. I also agree with the Polish stance.Thought though that the situation had got slightly better in recent years once the Russian League stopped throwing money around and importing top stars(didn't Greg miss a Reading meeting because he was in Russia once?) and the Italian and Czech Leagues also have dropped off the international radar for me at least. The only move in the opposite direction was the doubling up in Sweden
  9. Watched two BBC programmes today. One on the absolute shambles the Greeks have made of the country over the past few decades and how those who bailed them out have tried to bring them to their senses. In typical style it is the EU and Germany who the people direct their anger at instead of those closer to home who are really to blame. Is this because of biased media as is often the case in the UK? The other was on the millions of money the Greens made out of tax avoidance etc from BHS Greeks + Greens + corruption
  10. Funny you don't mention the massive rise in racial abuse after the referendum. That is dividing the nation ,as people feel the vote to leave has given them backing for their bigoted views.Seeing a lot of the views posted on sites like the Evening Standard Facebook page is quite frightening coming from people in a modern country
  11. It must be the bloke who always laughs down the pub when someone explains the speedway rules
  12. So they are quite similar to the guy in Orions post. They are doing great financially, just don't like doing the work to get the financial gain,so voted for an uncertain future Have a look in the phone book under Electrician and Wealthy Farmer and tell us
  13. No denying it.But Zabik looked class at that age.Everyone was raving about Marcin Rempala after his SWC performance at Poole.Just 2 examples.Sure i could name many more.....we have to wait and see. They look exciting prospects though, but anything can happen Lindbäck looked a good bet for a world title at one stage as did Emil and also Darcy
  14. I'd say he would be the exception to the rule. How many very wealthy farmers are there compared to electricians? And we are so often told that farmers are being screwed and are just about coping.
  15. I am always cautious with young Polish riders.Far too often they shine as an U21 and disappoint when they move out of that age group
  16. That moment you know Sidney started the thread just by seeing a part of the title...
  17. I guess just like others don't forget what the British League tried to do when the sun was shining on them
  18. But i wonder if something like 8 meetings or the 3-6 meetings done in Czecho or the Bundesliga are even in the thinking of the Polish League.I can understand 15 or 20+ meetings, but over a season are 8 meetings a problem to Poland? Personally i just think they want everyone to give them priority. And Denmark doesn't clash at all really
  19. Why are you so certain if Niels has to choose,he would choose Denmark? He only rode in 8 Danish League meetings this year.Doubt that would give him as much money as a season in the EL
  20. Think that is what all this is about. Not about trying to stop him riding in Denmark or Czecho, but riding in Poland when they have a fixture. But i would guess they also want riders to turn up to practice as well.I know from talking to one rider who was against missing a meeting on saturday to turn up to train that it wasn't looked upon sympathetically if he then had a poor meeting.
  21. But he can ride in 3 leagues,so if we take your sum he will be down 40000 if he doesn't ride in Denmark. He either decides to be 40000 down or 100000 down if he doesn't sign his polish contract.Which one do you think he will choose?
