  1. Must admit i thought there was going to be live commentary of the heats. It is just an update after every round, though. But still interesting interviews
  2. Ht 9 Stead,Johnston,Batchelor,Schlein Ht 10 Nicholls,McGowan,Hedley Ht11 Crump,Adams,Holder Ht12 Doyle,Woodward,Lemon
  3. Well i have seen heats cut back to 3 laps if the weather looks bad,to get the meeting finished. But it doesn't seem to be the case here.23° the sun going down Nothing happening at the mo.A very good interview with Dave Cheshire about his career and his plans with Pinjar Park, and the general situation in WA Ht 5 Crump,Stead,Woodward,(?)-Jason super fast and way out in front Ht6 Adams,Hedley,Johnston,Gathercole Ht 7 Nicholls,Batchelor,Doyle,Harding -Close on the line between Scott + Troy Ht 8 Holder(awesome! according to the bloke here),Schlein,McGowan,Lemon
  4. Well if no one else does But i just logged on in what seems to be an interval and there is some Go-Kart racing.Sounds like they are only running 3 lap heats, because of the abrasive nature of the track. But didn't get all the conversation From the first 4 heats i can gather Crump,Adams,Holder and Harding won their heats.Schlein,Johnston aand McGowan came second.Think Stead and Scott finished 3rd
  5. It works fine for me Anyone get why they have cut from 4 to 3 laps?Obviously the track, but why exactly
  6. It's a plot!Oh,can't you see that?.Open your eyes before it is too late!.The bodysnatchers are everywhere. They are taking over the planet, starting with the F.I.M.For some reason it is of vital importance to their struggle to keep Nicholls in the GP's.You must see that.............or are you one of them?
  7. Well i have seen it from 2 different sources.Russian and German at the beginning of the week. And only Oulu was mentioned,no other option.Yes,then all 3 meetings on the same day. That would mean the Ivanov Brothers and Bulankin coming to Finland
  8. It has been announced that Oulu is on stand-by for the 11.02 if Saalfelden can't hold the meeting
  9. I'll take a leaf out of f-s-p's book here A number of changes happening for the new season. For a start there will be only one Bundesliga. The second league has been scrapped and a few teams have dropped out of the Bundesliga. As far as rule changes go the team limit is now at a very low 30 points.Only one foreign rider per team, plus there must be a German U21 +U19 rider in each team. The U19 riders will compete in their own heats against each other. Bundesliga fixtures are as follows: 01.04 Diedenbergen 42,Brokstedt 32,Landshut 26,Neuenknick 25 08.04 Neuenknick 26,Güstrow 30,Diedenbergen 40,Brokstedt 29 01.05 Brokstedt 31,Pfaffenhofen 22,Neuenknick 34,Güstrow 38 06.05 Pfaffenhofen 24,Olching 26,Güstrow 35,Landshut 41 02.06 Landshut 39,Neuenknick 37,Olching 25+2 ,Pfaffenhofen 25+3 22.07 Olching 44,Landshut 40,Pfaffenhofen 25,Diedenbergen 17 12.08 Güstrow 35,Diedenbergen 26,Brokstedt 22,Olching 43 03.10 Final(venue to be decided) Table Landshut.....4meetings......9pts.....146 racepoints Güstrow .....4 ......9.....138 Olching ....4.......7.......138 Diedenbergen 4 ....7 .....125 Neuenknick.. 4.......4....122 Brokstedt.... 4......4.....114 Pfafenhoffen 4.....2......96 And here are the averages the teams have to work with. There will also be a league competed between 3 of the northern teams that dropped out,but in the British league format, rather than the 4tt Bundesliga format. 05.05 Teterow 30 v Stralsund 60 17.05 Wolfslake 51v Teterow 41 30.06 Stralsund v Wolfslake rained-off 21.07 Stralsund 59 v Teterow 34 04.08 Wolfsake 50v Stralsund 41 21.09 Teterow v Wolfslake No idea yet of any restictions or the make up of each team. But at first glance and knowing the usual line-ups of these teams it looks quite promising. Marcin Piekarski has signed for Wolfslake.Here.Seems quite a good young rider.Think i read before that Jernej Kolenko was looking forward to a good year in Germany,so expect him to be in the Wolfslake team as well
  10. I know how much poor speeling upsets you
  11. Nope,Kev helped me complete my programme collection Only thing i am missing are some marbles
  12. Is that it.Are his,er i mean your programmes all completed then? And your mum Shazzy?
  13. A lot of things can change between now and then SCB,but like i say i ain't really a fan of the GPs.Been to 2 and that is it.I can go to(or could)4 Danish league meetings for the price of a Gp ticket. In fact i could go to both parts of the Danish Final plus a league meeting. And seeing as proper league speeway is rare in these parts that is what i prefer.Plus so far i have never been to a speedway meeting south of Hamburg.North, east and west but have only been to a couple of longtrack meetings further south.Would love to meet you all(well some of you )though. In fact i would love to meet someone. My members met list is pretty well non-existant
  14. Not so sure about "great" Not even sure if i will go to this.I am not a big fan of the GPs.Far too expensive. But if you are going to the Grand Final thing at Vojens or the SWC at Vojens i will be there
  15. Just look at how much they won this by in 84 and the class of rider they left behind them WORLD FINAL. Leszno PL 18/8. 1.Denmark 44 Bo Petersen 3 3 3 3 12 Erik Gundersen 3 3 3 3 12 Hans Nielsen 2 3 3 3 11 Preben Eriksen 2 3 3 1 9 2.Great Britain 24 Simon Wigg 3 2 1 3 9 Phil Collins 1 2 2 2 7 Chris Morton 0 1 2 1 4 Peter Collins 2 0 0 2 Neil Collins 2 2 3.USA 20 Shawn Moran 3 1 1 1 6 Kelly Moran 1 2 0 2 5 Lance King 0 2 2 1 5 Bobby Schwartz 1 1 2 John Cook 1 1 2 4.Poland 8 Zenon Plech 2 0 2 0 4 Leonard Raba 1 1 0 0 2 Roman Jankowski 0 1 0 0 1 Zenon Kasprzak 0 1 0 1 Boleslaw Proch 0 0
  16. The thing was Jim.He was a great rider, but look at who he had to join him in the pairs and World team cup
  17. You mean he gave you the answer a few days ago,and it was wrong? only kidding Jim
  18. Or look on my site Steve.Underneath it says "No official pairs championship"
  19. Or this site Jim.Pretty comprehensive
  20. No exactly Sandie. The GP isn't confirmed. But if it does go ahead it will defo be that date as the original date can't be used.
  21. No,as spiegal and Chris Brown know this is about as definite as can be.The German GP has had to be moved as the stadium is booked for something else on the original date.Chris did get confirmation before booking I did mention the date change a while back. Here
  22. Yes,TMW.We did have a reply about that from Peter S(Slangerup official)and he said nothing was concrete yet.Think he said they hoped to have a league meeting, but maybe try to arrange something else if that doesn't happen. It does seem though that the prospects of some league being arranged look promising. I just wanted to put those fixtures that are set, rather than provisional
  23. I don't know what you mean Kev Not much at the moment. Only thing in Germany is a grasstrack meeting in Nidda.I know i had to look it up .Right down in the middle of Germany,by Diedenbergen.Might be lucky with something in Denmark, but i have a feeling it might be school holidays, then the speedway season takes a break for a few weeks in Denmark. So are you going to Vojens then?
