  1. All ifs, buts and maybes. The fact is no one will ever know what score would have been if both teams at full strength. As a panthers fan im happy with a draw
  2. Lambert was being checked over by paramedics after his last ride last night at Kings Lynn, I personally didnt think he looked to good
  3. Another rider that rides on sundays in Poland...
  4. CAPTAIN IS AN ASSET Wednesday April 29, 2015 PETERBOROUGH skipper Ulrich Ostergaard has become a full asset of the club - and he wants to celebrate by winning more trophies. The Readypower Panthers have thrashed out a deal to secure his contract from former promoters Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney. Ostergaard, who was part of the Elite League title-winning Peterborough team of 2006, is one of the leading riders in the second tier of the sport – a point highlight by an average of close to eight-and-a-half points and a third-place in the Premier League Riders’ Championship last season. And the 34 year-old is hungry to bring more silverware to the East of England Showground. He said: “Peterborough has always been a special place for me. “I loved being part of the team that won the Elite League and I was so happy to return when the club came into the Premier League. “It is great to have Ged running the club and I know how ambitious he is. He wants to make it a success and I’m really proud to be a part of it. “He has always shown a lot of faith in me and I’m hoping to pay him back with some trophies. I think we have a team that can do it.” Promoter Rathbone is thrilled to secure a full transfer of a rider he also sponsors and mentors. And he is convinced it will prove to be a terrific piece of business with Ostergaard likely to be a cornerstone of the club's plans in the coming years. Rathbone said: “Ulrich is our captain and a top rider at Premier League level so we are delighted to have secured him as our own asset. “He performed very well last season, he is confident doing even better in the current season and I expect him to have several more good years ahead of him. “I would never have become associated with Peterborough were it not for Ulrich returning to the club ahead of last season “I must place on record my thanks to Rick and Julie for their help what I believe it is a very good piece of business for the club. “We work to a strict budget and buying Ulrich is considerably more viable financially than having to pay a loan fee annually to use him.” Ostergaard becomes the second asset of the Rathbone-led promotion after youngster Danny Phillips penned a deal on the eve of the season.
  5. Am I the only 1 who is a little worried about what the track is going to be like??? With 20 tonnes of shale ordered I can see the track being a right mess tbh. Hope I am wrong tho and we get some good racing
  6. As a Panthers fan I agree with what Shads has been saying, looked like no intent from the rye rider and olly just went streaming into bend into a gap that wasnt there
  7. In my view he crashed because he went for a silly gap that wasn't there and was never going to stay on going that hot and wide into the bend
  8. Thought poles couldn't ride in prem? Also has the Sunday Poland meetings as a issue
  9. It will be just a rumour and that's it. Pretty sure panthers promotion can realise that R/R is better than Dilger
  10. Its only short term. Panthers promotion have said that Adam will be straight back in the team as soon as he is fit again
  11. am i the only one to notice it says SATURDAY 15TH MARCH LOL
  12. gutted with the fixture list. so much for regular friday night race... there are more sunday afternoons than fridays. i work sundays so after 20years of going to almost every home meeting i guess i'll only be going to 7 this year (good job i didnt get a season ticket)
  13. 1st time in a long time I have been excited bout our team for upcoming season
  14. With 2015 just about here and most teams complete. What are your predictions for the upcoming season? For me Peterborough, Ipswich and Glasgow look to be the strongest. But a long season ahead and anything could happen
  15. Was a little worried we would be a bit weak at reserve but think Ollie and Simon will do ok. No superstar reserves but solid enough and should both put bit on there averages
  16. Doubt it has anything to do with the announcement but there has been couple of big trucks and a digger on the track today :s
  17. Could be that we will stage the 4TT again? Or one of the other events?
  18. For me as a Panthers fan i would have to say Glenn Cunningham in 1998. Premier League Riders Champion 1998, Premier League Champions 1998 (Peterborough Panthers) Premier League Fours Champion 1998 (Peterborough Panthers) Premier League Champion 1998 with Brett Woodifield (Peterborough Panthers) Cant ask for much more than that, think he also took the track record that year
  19. Allen and Roynon have same chance as the rest of the team getting injured.. Only problem with Allen is that he tends to not ride even with a broken nail when others will still ride with broken bones :/
  20. And every1 else that has seen todays local paper.Nothing on website yet tho
  21. So olly Allen has signed. Great top 5 but I bit weak at reserve
