Just looked at the forecast, odd shower but pretty much dry after 3. Cant see it being a problem if that forecast is correct.

My doctor would certainly not give me a note for compassion and I work in a place where one missed step could cause a serious fire He would tell me I'm entitled to compassionate leave from my employer, there is no need for a note to get it.

He has a medical certificate so yes but how you can get one for compassion baffles me!

You stated Bees had shortcomings signing riders yet most other clubs had the same issue including yourselves. I don't see how Horton is making excuses he isn't happy with the North situation like many speedway fans in general. We called this last week that North would be replaced. Horton(sponsors) was willing to splash the cash. No one wanted to come.

Is I said in a previous thread if Zagar does well in the Golden Helmet he should really ride at Swindon on Monday. Both the Zagar and North situation really gets people down about the sport.

Shortcomings involve Swindon too. Had over 8 points to play with yet could only sign a 6pt man when you couldve signed pretty much any rider in the world. That will likely lose Swindon the title. No one wants to ride in the UK even more so for potentially 2 meetings only.

Have you seen Norths scores the last few weeks? Kennett strengthens them greatly. I've woke up thinking we can still do this but of course it a long shot. R/R should be good for around 7 points but what we need most is Howarth to get into some form like last years playoff final at Poole. Sarjeant has shown more than once he can beat Newman around Poole but he will will have to do it more than once tonight. Hopeful of Josh Bates scoring a few too. No concerns over Harris, Hans or King as they've all done well around Poole at least once this season. Its a huge ask after what's gone on over the weekend but Cmon You Bees!!!

What I find bizarre is a doctor gives a note for compassion these days. Since when was that a medical illness? I best not tell my work about this because they'll class it as a sick day in future. No issue with North not riding if he doesn't feel upto it but getting a facility just isn't right.
