If the Kings Lynn meeting was arranged first and Wroclaw want to use Morris then Morris will have to ride at Kings Lynn, thats how it usually works I believe.

Swindon 2016 - A New Era Starts...we Thought..

With Morris surely it depends which meeting was arranged first? If it was the one at Kings Lynn and Wroclaw want to use him then he has to ride for them. I do find it incredible that Doyle will ride at Kings Lynn though, surely he got permission from Rosco. -
Polish fixtures now changed and all of Bjarnes is on a Sunday so no fixtures clashes. I'm sure he may get an offer or two after the first set of averages come out.
-
Nice to see Chris Harris will still attend the training camp in Croatia despite him not being able to ride after a minor operation. True commitment.

2017 - 1 Or 2 Fixed Race Nights And When?
Woz01 replied to 1 valve's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Belle Vue ride on a Friday as do Coventry and Lakeside, Leicester also seemingly keen to ride Friday. Swindon and KL ride Thursday. If we move 6 clubs racenight to Monday and Wednesday it'll be a financial disaster for them so guess what some of them will likely do? Drop down to PL level. So then what would be the point of having a Monday and Wednesday as set nights? Don't think Belle Vue would be at all keen as they have a stadium to pay for, they also picked Friday nights for a reason. -
It didn't 👍

2017 - 1 Or 2 Fixed Race Nights And When?

Id say crowds at Brandon have generally held over the last 4-5 years and that's including a season we finished bottom, obviously nothing like the Saturday crowds though. A move midweek would be difficult to hang on to the crowds we get at present. I could get to meetings but my kids on a school night? Not a chance. Coventry had Poole on a bank holiday at 11am a few years back it was the biggest crowd ive seen at Brandon for an EL meeting in a long time. Lots of families there to enjoy an afternoon of speedway, if the sport wants to attract families back it has to be when its accessible to them. -

Have a read about what's been going on in Polish Speedway over the winter, we thought British Speedway was a shambles! Its all very well having the riders who are paid handsomely but when the money runs out over there how good would they be then? -
Scott Nicholls will be part of BT Sports coverage of the GPs.
-
That will hopefully be the plan but for now to help the few youngsters we do have in the draft system we need the older ones to make it at least competitive.
-
The thing is to get 16 youngish riders that are competitive for the EL reserve role they would probably need at least 3-4 years experience riding in the lower leagues. I know we will get the odd rider who who is extremely talented like Robert Lambert but that for now is rare until they get a good training programme going.
-
It'll be crazy if they didn't, anything to get the stadium built cheaper and more eco friendly the better.
-
Its not called fast track anymore but I do understand your point. Not every rider involved in it will be young and inexperienced. Needs to be as competitive as possible and plus he is only the number 9 this year.
-
Seems fair enough to me although I doubt some of the sides will have the same 1-7 by May. Looking at value either Swindon or Coventry for me, just one right change if averages work out can make them decent sides.
-
That may be the case but Heaver has said he would want a stadium that can hold Stock Car crowds. I'm sure he said he expects 8,000+ for a meeting so it cant be just a track in a field. Obviously Belle Vue new stadium will surpass it easily, Brandon is now getting very old. If a new stadium can be half as good as what Belle Vue looks like it'll be id be very happy.

Nothing confirmed yet.

Wasps will be using Broadstreet as a temporary base until they build there new training facility at the Higgs Centre and the Severn Trent station on London Road.
-
If KK can produce his form from 2010 then I would be very confident of a good season, having two big hitters in KK and Harris could be a big difference against other sides named.
-
I just don't see how it would he wrong. If its within the limit then no problem for me, unless if course there is two suspicious efs like Batchelor last season 😉
-
Think between all 7 riders they will have to drop less than .3 to fit in Batchelor. Kings Lynn are way under the limit so are fully entitled to replace any top 5 rider who is in poor form if they keep within the limit. Are you actually suggesting clubs are not allowed to build to the limit? It only has to be like for like if they are over the team limit. Wouldnt be surprise if other clubs made a similar move if they have a poor start as most are quite below the limit.
-
Possibly but it seems he will cover d/u riders only. Shame we couldn't persuade Garrity to be a draft rider then couldve had Barker in the 1-5 with a strong reserve pairing again. If he could cover Woryna as well then that could make more sense as Woryna may have Polish commitments that clash. As I hoped Adam Roynon announced as our number 9.
-
We get priority on Garrity thats why its strange. It must be to cover for injuries to Garrity and King, only thing that can make sense.
-
Yep he was named along with two (maybe three) others as directors of the company. Thanks for that link.
-
Seems it was said by Horton at the supporters meeting last night.
-
Why? If Batchelor fits within the 40.5 limit when he is fully fit then there is no issue.
