no I wasn't, but not really on about that, it's the ideal that monarchs are more bothered about cook getting a max and beating barker, rather than the TEAM getting a point...I'm trying to point out that cook can get all the maximums he wants but sometimes he has to sacrifice them for the good of his side.Lets face it he's head and shoulders the best rider in the PL.... But it's not doing his team mate any good if he's half a lap in front when the team needs a 4-2, he's that good and that much better than most that he should be able to go off the worst gate and still win or Shepard his inferior team mate around.... Would you be happy if that scenario repeated itself in the play off final or last heat decider of the cup??.... Teams will just let cook go and team ride the other out of it.... Thus cookie gets his max but Edinburgh win Nowt... Ipswich would have been creaming their pants when they seen tabaka off the worst gate and probably wouldn't even have thought about cook.

ah the chat zone.... The font of all unbiased knowledge ....even tonight...... Last heat of the play off final, monarchs need a 4-2 to take the title...top man cookie clears off into the distance leaving poor joe to fend for himself against barker and risager ... Who team ride well ensuring Ipswich are 2013 premier league champs...wild celebrations follow from the monarchs, because cook has a 18 point max and has equalled the track record!!...well done Craig, we love you.... But we dont give a toss about you joe....Give over man...

you sure?? They used to, thought it was just ko cup matches that never??
-
how is that the right thing?? It's not the Craig cook show, the object is for the TEAM to pick up as many points as they can surely?? Each to their own but I'd be unhappy if my team did it... Christ cook could have gone through the tapes and still passed riders if he was that faster.

Because they know its true, any half decent supporter would say the same
-
and that way it gives teams like your own ( this season) a bit interest at the end and stops teams using the premier cup as a ave reducing tool
-
might have been a different outcome had it cost Edinburgh any points
-
Surely monarch fans couldn't give a monkeys if cook scores 2 or 22??...they do seem more interested that cook beat barker and how fast his lap times were....personally, I'm more bothered that my team picks up points, I'd like to think that Deek and messrs Campbell and Harkess would be saying to cookie before heat 15.... We need a 4-2 at least, it's no good you winning by half the track, you're good enough to get tabaka round and in four laps you could pass the opposition, as its plainly obvious you are streets ahead of them tonight.... Don't worry about the money for the 3 points, we will pay you it anyway. Team riding in general is not seen much these days, I've said the same about richie this season.., they are paid individually by point, so it's like they are racing for themselves first and the team second.

It's ludicrous to think you can finish 20 points behind the league leader yet still be champions... It opens the door to cheat the system... Scunny last year were able to win because they were rubbish early season, able to replace a, lets face it average rider with one of the best youngsters the PL has seen in the last decade... All of a sudden those that were not scoring suddenly start piling the points up in some sort of strange coincidence...we love Speedway but it is a joke, corrupt and unsporting most of the time... What other sport penalizes successful teams, but gives a massive incentive to crap ones.... Only people that can sort it out are the promoters... As a group, because the fat lady is clearing her throat and the fans are becoming disinterested in their droves....sort it out before its to late, think of the bigger picture instead of your own poxy clubs, be together and for once make decisions for the good of the sport on the whole. Rant over. A p!ssed off fan.
