  1. He has to be asset surely? He rode 4 at home and 4 away and got an average.
  2. Yes all three in team would be good as all can only get better.
  3. Think he was only on loan to Berwick from either Swindon or Edinburgh??
  4. Makes you wonder are Tigers definitely racing? Will they stick to Sundays as the Friday night thing seems to have gone quiet? No Joe, Josh or Mason now it seems. Thats a good team! Imagine Berwick would fancy Dyer back.
  5. I think, having read what you say, Bellego simply did not want to return to Glasgow for whatever reason? Seems he was extremely happy and popular in the Berwick area?
  6. Yes see that. Seems BSPA have confirmed Bellego as Berwick rider at AGM
  7. Correct me if wrong but have Berwick actually come out and said they are definitely running? I see from BSPA Press Release that they declared to run among others at AGM but also read it would depend on sponsorship, funding etc being in place?
  8. See your point but dont really know why the rest bothered as it seemed a waste of space with nothing learned fans did not know already.
  9. Yes should have said 'Don't Panic' or maybe it should be 'Do Panic'
  10. Just looked at Star for this week and have to add nice to have seen Berwick in it but have you read the pages?? What a waste of time and space, tells nothing we did not know already, no fixes there then, just bad weather and poor crowds. In the words of Clive Dunn 'We're doomed'
  11. Glasgow are using Alan Bridgett I think at start season?
  12. I know the very chap to take over Announcing/Presentation, well two actually. One is Norman Collier with his crackling microphone and the other name escapes me but he used to be on years ago talking mixed up English Got him! It was Stanley Unwin who was a star in his own voice box, sadly passed away in 2002 aged 90. Now he would brighten up your centre green or at least would have before he departed his world. On his headstone in Long Buckby is written 'Reunitey in the heavenly-bode, Deep Joy' On mine will be 'I told you I was not feeling well' Actually not sure if poor Norman is still alive?
  13. According to club programme he is a Director and I would have to say given it appears Berwick Speedway is a Company the Directors are the folks in charge, John Anderson, George Hepburn and George Fairgrieve or am I wrong??
  14. Jakobsen's final few away matches for Berwick were dire! Don't think he scored in his last few away fixtures (maybe four meetings)
  15. And Josh Grajczonek too out injured. Aspegren on current form at end season worth a shout as is Alden?
  16. We will just have to agree to disagree except you are wrong Are you Nicki Manager per chance!
  17. Word on streets our way is they may opt for third tier if they run. That way top flight meetings can still go ahead?
  18. Sorry I should have clarified. No use 3pt starting average Brit all season irrespective of his average month to month
  19. Still waiting on your clue, by way is it just 2? You should try Coventry!
  20. Your title does not do you justice! It was all 4 back or Pedersen out and by the way I am not one of the Referees.
  21. Here we go: six to start 1 Ban several users of the Berwick Forum or better still close it down and give us some peace and quiet. 2 No more Tactical Rides, go back to tactical subs after 6 down (twice) in meeting 3 Use anyone you like in Heat 15 4 League fixtures and KO Cup only (maybe 2h and 2 a against all in PL) 5 If play offs same as Elite, with 2 semis then Final 6 Use of 3 point Brit at Reserve all season
  22. Give us a clue Fred? I follow the Berwick Forum a lot and I bet my two are same as your two?
  23. Yes and honestly in the future, maybe not 2013, I see a Premier League/National League merger of sorts with even a watered down Elite League for costs.
  24. Yes you are spot on. Future of Team GB looks bleak, with little talent emerging. Denmark have a thriving youth set up from 80cc upwards and you only need to look at the talent emerging from that country aka World Team Cup, with likes of M. Jepsen Jensen, M Bach Jensen, in Elite and a host of promising talent coming via Premier and that's not to mention riders who are not racing in GB.
  25. Some good points made. Mind you no matter what you say there are a couple of regular posters on this Berwick section who would be delighted to see Berwick fall flat on their face! For next season, who knows? Maybe only 9 or 10 teams and if that is so make it league only with 2 home and 2 away against all teams. If you want a play off make it like Elite League with top four in semi then final. If you want a consolation cup make it next four. Other major concern is lack of good British talent. Many of the leading lads in Academy League have been used late season by clubs and the gulf is there mainly because they are pitched in for only 1 or 2 matches. Is it time to bring back the rule where Premier clubs must include a 3 point rider (British) at reserve in declared line up?
