  1. More respect for a new poster please. They haven't got all the experience of your 53 posts remember.
  2. The loan fee is fixed by the riders average.
  3. Good example with Kym but not Tony Briggs.
  4. Well, I am really pleased for all Plymouth fans. Having got rid of the guy who was trying to destroy what he had built, you now have local folks who know the task ahead of them, which should get those fans back that couldn't take any more with Mike. They know improvements to the facilities and the safety items have to be tackled, they have bought the club and have a new lease, they have more relevant experience with the promotion ranks to make this takeover very successful and now have signed a team that will entertain and win meetings. I have high hopes for the future of Plymouth and it must be great to be a Plymouth fan after what has gone before. Never been to Plymouth yet, but will be down next year with HalifaxTiger, and meeting up with Bob C and their mates. Looking forward to it.
  5. So after explaining the current financial situation that ALL clubs are experiencing, and having told you that despite these difficulties they have decided to still go with 2013, you think that that it some sort of blackmail. He has made the right decision for the riders, fans, speedway in general, and it would appear to me that he has given you all a good year to think about that and for you to make a decision as good as his. Are you up for it or tell folks you had a hand in the speedways closure. You decide. I would expect both Hoggy and Neil to continually monitor the team and will make any changes that is necessary. Neil especially has form with things like this, Sheffield is probably in the top two teams that have competed in the PL over the last decade.
  6. Too true. How could Hoggy be blackmailing anyone when he has explaining the situation AFTER the decision was going to be to run in 2013 was announced. Some have s**t for brains, or are just stirring it.
  7. Not true. He continued in the same vein. Not being a reserve, he did not have the 7 ride option.
  8. I think he might be related to Risager. Just guessing like.
  9. Thanks for that. I saw a picture of them, and Richie looked as if he had had an off in his Lakeside kevlars.
  10. How did the Worralls look. First rides since their leg breaks.
  11. The club nominates the 5 to ride at reserve with the 3.
  12. Given that the numbers draw is random, how would you propose to make it 'fair'.
  13. In other words you know you talk s***e, but you don't care a toss whether anybody agrees with you. Thanks for clearing that up.
  14. ...and he scored a 21 point max a couple of years ago at Brough. Can be a very useful scorer especially when others can't.
  15. Quite agree Squall. No body gave Paul Starke a chance last year, in the NL he was about a 7 pointer. Newcastle stuck by him, and he just got better with regular riding at a higher level. So much so the a lot of Diamond fans were hoping for a return of Paul this next year, but that was highly unlikely with Steve Worrall already returning. Richie had only ridden 7 times in the NL, and was not in anybodies 1 to 7 when he came to us.
  16. Good side and I can see then challenging, with even scoring throughout the team. Let's hope now for a sponsor.
  17. Many thanks for your corrections Barney Rebel and Najjer. The rider I confused him with was Lee Smart who rode with Redcar last year.
  18. Exciting rider, but sadly on last years performance, he is pasted it now with poor machinery and obviously carrying health probs(mind and body). Real shame as he was a real exciting rider in his prime and before his biggy.
