  1. Cheers... been avoiding it as it was a right ball ache getting out. Had missed previous 2 home meetings due to hol and illness
  2. I don't see the need for a superheat. If it's a draw, it's a draw. Not convinced you should have one for the bonus point either as that typically favours the home team. What I would do is make matches 16 heats and have 2 nominated heats, where you have to use 4 different riders. Would benefit teams who aren't quite so top heavy and give us all an extra heat. Would need some thought as to which team names riders first and 7 ride max for a rider, not include heat 15/16
  3. Interesting what Buster said about the track. However, watching from the terraces it didn't seem to give riders any trouble. Just seemed surprisingly slick, which played to Leicesters far superior gating strength. The sun is awkward as it shines directly onto start gate, but never used to be an issue, only seems to be a modern thing? Or was the sun in a different place on Saturday nights? The racing this year has been very good most meetings, but last night was truly awful. All the extra track work made s0d all difference to the racing, just dragged out what was basically a cr@p meeting. Thank God the crowd was poor... On a different subject, have they seen sense and opened the main gate to back car park again rather than clog up the industrial estate?
  4. What a pile of pooh. Track may well have been poor, but when you didn't gate it was game over with a few odd exceptions. We didn't gate.....Leicester did, simple as that... Easily the worst home meeting of the season. Slim play off hopes gone too
  5. Tobies Thomsen suggests Lynn have given up hope of a top 4 spot - no disrespect but he's not PL 6 point standard and likely to have a field day at reserve.. and do well to match kemp and Joe Thompson
  6. Looking at our remaining fixtures we've got a decent chance of at least 18 points.. Leicester at home 2pts Oxford and Birmingham home and away - 4 wins 2 bonus = 10pts BV and Sheffield home - 2 wins and bonus points - 6pts Just that Suffolk lot away to deal with.. Sheffield (rather than Leicester) just might be catchable....
  7. The best thing about these changes is it gives Kings Lynn a sniff of 4th place above the tigers.... I could easily see the Stars going through the rest of our league meetings unbeaten... Sheffield are more catchable than Leicester....
  8. Thursday is 31st July, so it's still nki at 1 and klindt at 6 - changes from Friday to kvech / cook
  9. We missed a trick there I think.. our 2 replacements, although showing plenty of promise, aren't quite ready for the fast track reserve spot yet, but deffo ones for the future... so perhaps that's Robs plan to use the best one next season once they have some experience behind them this year...
  10. He's made himself a decent career for a rider who has a very awkward style. Loyal and always 110% effort But he must be coming towards the end..
  11. I'd not thought about the number of rides for Fricke - but its a good point that potentially helps the Stars
  12. I think you'll find our matches are scheduled to finish 1st Sept, so hardly b*ggering anything
  13. Kings Lynn will win the cup final...then Buster will give up on the league.... looking pretty much a lost cause after Leicester won at Sheffield... too many points lost earlier in season... needs a minor miracle to make top 4 now
  14. From 1st Aug, Ben Cook drops to reserve... possibly even worse than being at no. 5 Jan moves to no. 1
