Yes .. i remember dave lanning referring to Finn as "enigmatic" and he certainly was that. Riders have good and bad meetings but Jensen would come in stone last in the reserves race looking like he'd never ridden a bike before and then pop out and beat a heat leader next time out. Ive even seen him bolt out of the start looking v stylish, the race has been stopped as someone crashed and then look a novice in the rerun lol. I remember going to a cov v cradley league match in 1985 and colin pratt lost his rag with him. He was just awful that day - including a 5-0 when he got excluded on 2 mins.
Not sure if this has been done before on here ...
I'd like to know what some of the stars of the 80's and 90's are doing now - particularly ex heathens riders ... i'll start it off ...
Jan.o. Pedersen - lives back in the black country coaching the dudley heathens
Erik Gundersen - lives back home in denmark coaching youngsters so still involved in the sport
Alan Grahame - lives locally in bham - machine examiner at wolverhampton
Simon Cross living in France - not sure what he does now though?!
Phil collins - living in USA - again unsure what he is up to ..
Any more PLEASE!!!!! Bruce penhall?
For me Phil Collins, Chris Morton, Jano Pedersen, Bruce Penhall, Billy Hamill, John Cook, Michael Lee... All fantastic to watch and great from the back. Anyone else's thoughts?
