  1. Not a bad thing, as I remember Stevie Worrall often helping him out.
  2. I think only Sun/Mon are available, so that might be scupper that.
  3. Although some think it makes BV stronger and, some consider MX a bit risky,,, hmm
  4. Did/does he have a team place for 2018 ??? Hope he's gonna be ok, btw
  5. I would say so,,, and available on a round about 10.00 ave.
  6. Yeah, I get that,,, but the point I was making was, that a rider is granted r/r for a non speedway injury (skiing),,, which is probly a bit more dangerous than sledging, so, what is the difference ?,,,yet a rider is being slated for it.I'm not saying that Sheffield should get a facility, but like you say, it has been granted in the past for a non speedway incident.
  7. So maybe, if Josh was to say he was sledging as say, part of his fitness campaign (instead of jogging, say),,, there may be a case ?
  8. Tha mental,,, but a suppose they've gotta be, doing what they do, lol
  9. BTW Dave,,, re. plastic bags... did you or do you still wear bread bags on your feet in the winter, to keep them warm and dry ??? and were they, 'Mothers Pride' or 'Sunblest' (thick or thin)
  10. Exactly Dave,,, that wudda been silly !!! Not too long ago (about 5 years) I watched a video of a speedway rider riding a bmx down some stairs, in a house... There was others riders there, all jovial and that,,, not sure which one it was, or if it was before either of them had broke their leg,,, but am sure Diamonds fans know what I mean
  11. Speedway riders should be mummyfied over winter and, in between meetings.
  12. Been out sledging today,,, most people had protection on, (hats, scarfs and gloves,,, woolen) just goes to show how many folk think its dangerous !!!,,, although one poor kid didn't have a sledge and turned up with a shopping bag, but it wasn't a dangerous plastic bag, it was canvas style bag for life
  13. would Bjarne not be prevented from riding in the CL,.. as he does not have a CL ave. his last higher league ave. was above 6.00,,, and could he be classed as 'home grown'?,,, which is a dubious ruling IMO?
  14. Dunno why, but some decent Brough riders struggle to pass him and he's took a few scalps that way.
  15. Re. Ashley,,, if he gates there's not many can pass him at Brough.
  16. Dunno if there's any stats on it, but it would be interesting to see if its more dangerous to ride a moto X bike, or sledge down a hill.
  17. Yeah, but not as far on a regular basis,,, Maybe boomerang has a solution
  18. OK,,, maybe he should've been wearing his body armour. anyways, I hope he makes a full recovery and is back on track soon.
