am not a fan ov the play offs, in any sport,,, and 'Sir Ernst League' will be turning in his grave, at the thought ov the trusted old system, thats been going along nicely since about 1100 BC, is made a mokery ov by the people ov the future,,, fair enough, its about money and that, but give it a 'new' different name,,, and to get the younger generation a bit more interested, try having a more upto date entertainment system, and not play music that not even their grandparents remember,,, and maybe do away with some ov them wacky speedway coats, (the newer ones don't look too bad like) and maybe simplify the rules,,, just a thought ;-)

well thats not fair,,, say Somerset beat Ipswich by 7 pts,,, and say Edinburgh beat Workington by at least 31 pts,,, thats means The Monarch's would be 2nd in the league and be able to pick their opponents,,, all things being level n that, and have sympathy with the Leicester lot... this play off mallarkey causes nothing but a headache,,, TWK,,, get them telt,,, lol

not really sure what to make of Cook's team riding,,, it done the job and if it was the wrong way to do it, he must be good then,,, does it wrong and still gets it right,,, would ov been nice to see what he done in heat 13 before young liam came to grief at the back (thought he was ok actually) and it was nice to see he was'nt seriously hurt as he ran across the centre green sporting his sore ankle,,, mmm non the less, a close match, a good win on a long cold night ;-)

Can't see why not,,, just abandon this season and just start from scratch next season, (if its stopped raining by then like)what if it does'nt stop raining ever tho ?

in this case, it could be Redcar, and they might even finish in 7th,,, makes perfect sense, does'nt it ?
-
why bother with that ? ,,, the easiest solution to this problem is,,, to accept it !,,, the rules are the rules and the cut off date is the cut off date, your position in the league at the time, is your position at said time,,, crap system, but it's what we got, spilt milk,,,

so will ah,,, if I manage to get the bet on, lol

EEJITS !!! would'nt it be really ironic, if, after Redcar have been rewarded with a play-off place, go on to get stuffed at Rye House, leaving them in 7th position in the final table, but they find some good form and then go onto win the play offs, get crowned 'champions' form 7th place in the league ? ,,, might not be they way things was meant to be, some folk might look silly, but would set tongue's wagging about speedway and the crazy world it is, hahaha Oh,,, and am sure TWK would love it

I like this idea,,, instead ov a league,,, we can have the 'league cup', made up of some mini league's like we already got,,,then we can have the 'play off league cup', made up of one national league, then top teams into another bout of mini league's to create a final,, (not dis-similar to the 'league cup', eventually) ,,, a think we should call them, 'the little cup' and 'the big cup', and not forgeting 'the K O cup' am sure this will create some intrest and cram the terraces until closing night, 'if your team is any good and has a chance to win something',,,but, unfortunately, some will be better than other's, some will win and some will lose, so IMO, it's important that 'your teams' management/promotion construct a good team, capable of winning, keeping the fans happy,,, that's the tricky bit,,, ;-) Redcar, one would assume, as they are in 6th position at present, and Leicester are finished their play off qualifiers
