Well I would think, that in these times, it shouldn't be overlooked.

Am sure many will want to see some action, whether it be 4 team even. It shouldn't be beyond any sort of sense to only have like for like amongst clubs. Maybe CL grade and NL grade making up teams, but let those grades only race against similar grades. Stadium fees etc. may play a big part in viability, but the longer it doesn't go on, the earlier it will be lost.

Not wanting to throw another spanner in the works, but... Speedway seems to be, in a way, reliant on many dedicated track staff. Will any workplace, even voluntary, need to be 'covid secure' and, would any 'disclaimers' that may have already been signed, be valid?

I would think that, it's in the governments interests to have as many tests as possible. Then that might produce more positive tests and, keep numbers up. Also it might show that so many people have the virus, without knowing about it, but then might worry about something that they had never been bothered about before.

Was thinking along the lines of,,, IF we can get some speedway in, but maybe only using British based riders. Say 1 or 2 leagues, split geographically and share the riders out that can, or want to take part. It could be averaged based but, forget about their averages changing during what's left of the season. Then revert back to 2019 averages for 2021??? Just a daft idea, but maybe we could put up with it, if it keeps riders and fans getting their fixes.

The sooner the government realises that they need to get folk back to work the better

Typical isn't it,,, a very much doubt any speedway would have been lost to bad weather thus far this season. If or when it does get started, a bet it rains
