5 NO 6 good pros came at cost points wise leaving me with a 3 pointer at reserve with Simon. I went for the 2 Lewis's as they are older than most 3 pointers and are more mature and can take direction from other team members and myself. Both are very settled in they lives away from speedway. Which is something I look at very closely. Lewis Blackbird was very close to breaking through last season. Had a few problems with Mildenhall which I felt unsettled him at times. Lewis Kerr is an out and out racer who puts it on the line every time. As I said both can take direction. I think that they will be around 4/6 points by mid season. I truly believe that there is not a gamble in the team. The top 5 can all put 1/2 point on their average. Simon 1 point on his and the Lewis's 1 on theirs. Total 46.5. Look in the records and most league Champions over the last few years are around 44 points.

I went for Kevin as in the last 7 meetings for Redcar he averaged 8 so on his rolling average he was a steal. A very good team man Good equipment Most importantly want to ride at Leicester. Very easy to deal with. And an all round good guy. Glyn

We have good entry for the training day on the 9th. Here are a few dates for the next training days. We will have HOT food and drinks on the day and the Public toilets will be open. So if you want to come and just have a look your welcome. Dec 30th Jan 13th and 27th Feb 3rd and 17th. Then we are changing the track. We open again on the 3rd of March.

All corners will be getting changed. Work will start sooner with the planning working out the drains ect. The date of the 16th is the latest that work will start. We may start earlier than that. Time is not a problem. It will take 3/4 days to do the work.

robert72 It wasn't changed midseason as the riders felt they had an advantage. Its being changed now and the riders will have as much time on it as they want before the season starts. We want better racing for the fans.

Lewis Blackbird and Lewis Kerr will be double up at 7 as both ride NL. The great thing about this side is that all these guys wanted to ride for Leicester they work with me to sort the deals out under the new pay rules. To build the team in 7 days is fantastic effort from the riders to work together.

Ryan could not ride for the BSPA pay scale. He has 2 kids and a house ect. So has gone to an EL club.

Yes any size bike is ok. It must have a speedway type kill switch and a working muffler.

The Training day is ON the 9th of December then we are running every 2 weeks. A statement re the track changing will be put on the Club web site.

Yes we are going to work together on this occasion.

The Training day on the 18th has been Cancelled. This is due to the Enduro Cross not being able to remove their track and rebuild it for their event on the 2nd of December. They were going to remove it but the cost in doing so has meant that they are leaving the Enduro Cross track intact ready for the second meeting. We will now be running on the 9th of December.
