Well at least you got that right, pretty one sided and comfortable win for the stripes. -

I can see home wins for both, would take a point if offered just now anything more is a bonus. Can't make it tomorrow due to work but safe meeting to the 14 riders and a Glasgow win would be nice, but as i say realistically a point is all we will get. -

Edinburgh should win by about 20. If they don't there is something wrong with morale. -

A Jim Carrey quote but yes it doesn't look very promising going by what you say. -
Correct.

Jack indicated he would like to cut down on his travelling due to his day job.

Thing is they will hate whatever we do so it won't make any difference. Take it as a backhanded compliment, I am glad we get under there skin there pain is a joy to behold.

Lowering the points limit didn't exactly help matters, all it has done is water the product down even more meaning teams are introducing young riders or in Luke's case an injured rider returning who are not ready for this level. They are given team places based on average rather than ability , it will do more harm than good in the long run.
-
He may have underestimated how the serious injury has affected him, the problem with Speedway is if you are not 100% committed you will most likely get another injury as is often the case. Think Luke will know himself that he is doing nobody in favours especially to himself, nice lad but I can't see anything improving anytime soon.
-
He may will have after the race he was clearly disappointed immediately after the heat had finished, but fair paly to the Berwick lads they rode a terrific 4 laps to keep him at bay.
-
What winner does have that attitude though, anyway it matters not You ran out deserved winners on the night plain and simple.
-
Heat 8 is protected so Craig the sportsman wasn't out until heat 9 just saying like, as for that old saying show me a good loser and I will show you a loser springs to mind. Craig is certainly not that.

EASTBOURNE v SOMERSET 13th April
Gazc replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hope he is not on any guarantees or you will get even less effort. We sadly found this out to our cost last season. -
As good as Jensen was on Friday he was equally as poor last night, too early in the season for any knee jerk reactions to be honest. I am more concerned on Vissing away from home he seems to be a passenger most of the time and not what is required as back up. Guarantees as stated no chance after last season.
-
As I said Berwick can do to us as we did to them so not surprised at all, early season to really be overly concerned it is what it is, another average away performance we move on and well done to the Bandits well deserved win.
-
I am sure the line up will be announced early part of next week.
-
Large contingent travelling down, the first meeting last season was a cracker down there more of the same tonight would make it an excellent weekends entertainment. Berwick should win but we will take a point is my prediction.
-
None yet would guess that the Easter weekend makes availability difficult , social media will no doubt let us know the line up as soon as it is finalised 7pm start next Saturday with Glasgow , Bell vue . Edinburgh & Workington taking part in a 4tt. Would imagine there will be fans travelling from the other 3 teams so the sooner the better on a line up I guess.

He seemed to pick up speed after the race was finished it was suggested his throttle jammed open looked a nasty one best wishes to the lad.

Young Kyle was hugely impressive tonight, he commented in the programme how grateful he was on Workington sticking by him and how much it helped his confidence. Seems a very level headed young man and looking forward in watching him progress further with us this season. -
Cracking meeting to start the season, the racing was just great to watch with passing and repassing in nearly every heat. After a tight start and the Bandits well in it we just seemed to click and we went up a gear and looked very powerful , you were actually hoping we missed the gate as we were picking the Bandits of outside and inside with ease, for us everyone bar Chessell looked good Jensen in particular whilst Cook was just a joy to watch. The Bandits cannot be to despondent as they were well in it until heat 7, they are a decent team capable of doing to us what we done to them at Berwick tomorrow but all in all if that is what we get served up as far as the racing goes we are in for a treat
