  1. Simple solution if date offered you have riders missing is refuse dimples.
  2. True the gutter press in this country are just that. The last time I picked up a paper up here was in a toilet that ran out of toilet roll best place for them.
  3. Hopefully, it is frustrating as a supporter when your team are getting humped consistently as we know full well at Glasgow we have been in the same position numerous times. But good to see Berwick showing signs of recovery. True but Nick is a much improved rider now even only going back two years the improvement is noticeable. Nick was never a rider who ever done a victory lap even when he rode for us on the odd occasion yes but very rarely , alway's seemed to be one of those riders that just got on with it and never really took the plaudits.
  4. Not according to John Campbell there wasn't . Were the words not something along these lines " possibly the worst overseas rider to ride here " used to describe him. Glad he has rammed those words back down his throat,
  5. Good to see Berwick putting in a good performance and whilst with Bridger in attendance it could have made it closer it would have made no real difference on the outcome for either team. Nick is still value round Ashfield and when Glasgow first brought him over in 2010 and loaned him to Buxton in that year he was then a very raw talent , it is very gratifying to see how far Nick has progressed. All in all another solid display from the team and well done to young Jack on his first paid win , it also shows how vital Nike is to the team his scoring from the No 4 position is vital he is another very young class act who is sometimes taken for granted with young Dan progressing the way he is.
  6. Regardless of were he comes from this is the bottom line.
  7. Will be able to afford a 5 bed detached in Armadale with another two 8 point scores as a guest .
  8. It is just getting silly now mate i was trying to establish the relevance to the post still none the wiser.
  9. Erskine is in Renfrewshire and Clydebank is in West Dunbartonshire neither in Glasgow and you can get a lot closer. Not sure what if any the relevance is though.
  10. Glasgow are waiting on the winners of Newcastle & Workington which went to a replay. Makes you wonder why they don't use golden heats in the cup as they do in the play offs.
  11. So spit it out what are you accusing the Grand one of exactly ?.
  12. Think both are a given and you would like to think common sense will prevail.
  13. I genuinely believe that the amateurish way this sport is being run by the ones in charge and there foot soldiers implementing there rules will fast track the death of the sport in this country. Speedway and common sense will never be used in the same sentence until the welfare of the sport is outsourced and run properly by a company with no affiliation to any club. You only have to look at Darts to see the outcome of an outside body taking control.
  14. Regardless of what we say or what your promotion say nothing will ever be proven either way both riders seem to have escaped serious injury thankfully and the match was abandoned, both teams will now dust themselves down and get on with it. Things are always said in the heat of the moment human nature i am afraid.
  15. He has declared himself fit to ride tonight and Sunday no lasting injuries just stiff and sore.
  16. Hardly desperate for points more frustration i would say , but as i said in an earlier post the safety of the riders is the first priority. Frustrated yes desperate definitely not.
  17. I wasn't there but I would find it astonishing if any rider would put himself and another rider (who he is very close with) over a safety fence would it not be more sensible to say it was a racing incident. Or are you blaming Richard because he doesn't ride for your team strange comment to make. I was guilty off a similar comment about JBA but when i saw the incident from another angle I could see I was wrong , so perhaps you should take stock before laying any blame.
  18. So the trainee ref in charge will now go through his whole career wanting to take all the limelight as the Grand one himself was training him. Suppose he will need somebody to take over his legacy of strange decisions once he hangs up his BSPA identity card.
  19. You are technically correct in what you say but surely some degree of common sense should come into it at some point.
  20. Just saw it was McGregor that explains a lot he is the master of the limelight as in wanting to take it.
  21. When you look at things you would have thought the most logical thing to do under the circumstances would have been to declare heat 10 with only the two Glasgow riders left in it or is that too sensible. Stewart not happy it appears, but whilst it may leave a bitter taste it is something you would never be able to prove that the delays were deliberate with the Redcar management disputing them. I would imagine Stewart won't be in any great rush to reschedule going by his comments unfortunately these things happen. Think we have a fair idea what Jose was thinking and his statement was toned down by the censors .
  22. Richard Lawson had a big crash at Redcar tonight and is a doubt for our meeting on Sunday.
  23. Another rule change i have missed i still thought it was 12 cheers for that.
  24. Had only raced nine heats before the big crash in heat 10, as someone has said it was only the two Glasgow riders left in that heat so you would think that the ref could have declared that heat 5-0. Will need to wait on what transpired after that from someone who was there , frustrating from a Glasgow perspective but the main concern was for Coty & Richard as it sounded a horrendous crash glad both managed to walk away from it.
  25. I am pretty sure it his after heat 12 before you can declare a result.
