  1. Are you old enough to be on the computer this late I blame the parents.
  2. Aye your right Craig Cook comes cheap or maybe you funded it with the 15k you have i detest posters that try to buy the league.
  3. Would fit the bill but Nick preferred not to ride PL at all this year to fully concentrate on EL & had signed in Poland & Sweden .
  4. That would really be curtains on Friday were it to happen.
  5. Apparently he has been riding with a broken hand for 2 weeks after his fall at Redcar tough lads these speedway riders.
  6. You couldn't be further from the truth with that one yes one or two aired there opinion on Ben as they are entitled to. the track criticism s a no brainer as paying customers but it is not the norm as most meetings this season have been entertaining and Stewart deserves credit for his track prep before Sunday. No one having a pop just airing there opinion hopefully it is an isolated one regards the track i am sure we appreciate how difficult it must have been to prepare. But 99% off the time everything that is happening to our great club is positive and long may it continue.
  7. Yes i did read it but it really doesn't tell us anything other than Stewart would prefer slick tracks on day's like Sunday no need to post it again which then begs the question why was it prepared the way it was in that intense heat if a slick track was preferred. As MD has said everybody and there granny knew how warm the forecast was for Sunday so for the benefit off crowd entertainment would a slick track not have been wiser as i say we all learn by our mistakes hopefully lessons have been learned. Was more the lack off entertainment that was the issue as the less experienced riders struggled to turn the bike riders like Josh & Aaron have that track craft that they can ride anything and look quick.
  8. Paying publics perrogative ultimately and if the racing on Sunday was to be the norm (thankfully it isn't) then i am pretty sure it would affect numbers nobody is saying we are track curators but even the most naive off us could see the track was far too deep for the conditions as it was being watered every 3 heats which makes it worse with it being so deep with dirt.
  9. Wether i am on good terms or not is irrelevant and the bit highlighted is exactly what i have been saying hopefully lessons will have beeN learned.
  10. To be fair majority off meetings this season have been pretty good especially last week against Newcastle but today the track was poor as i say need to start listening to the home riders on prep and how they want it. Was never going to be easy today on the track with the sweltering heat but it was just far to deep until they had to do some work on it hopefully lessons have been learned but we have been entertained most weeks today we weren't we hope it was an isolated incident. I will pass on your concerns to Stewart the next time i talk to him I am sure he won't give a toss what you think. Come to think off it we don't give a toss what you think.
  11. Whilst we are no experts on track prep it was pretty clear that most found track conditions almost unrideable today at the start off the meeting, is it maybe time to meet halfway and take into account what our riders prefer. When you have young exciting riders like Lunna & Garcia willing to give it there all but track prep costing them points & ultimately money it is time too prepare the track to suit our team rather than unsettle the visiting team as all it is doing is unsettling our boys just as much if not more Richie not to complimentary on the track on the website either time for a rethink when your own team criticise the track conditions.
  12. Track in a word was awful to begin with improved slightly as the meeting progressed but not the best meeting when a rider of the experience off Kevin Doolan can't turn the bike we knew then that the track was too deep. Have a feeling releasing Ben will come back to bite us I have been saying since day 1 he will come good and i think it was the wrong decision to let him go time will tell.
  13. Did they apparently Jye Etheridge would be able to cut it at PL level and we know how that turned out.
  14. Glasgow or second choice my pocket but seriously glad you enjoyed your Ashfield visit seems our rep is growing with the complimentary comments from a few visiting for the first time .
  15. Spot on shrewd choice off guest in Coty he is riding very well at the minute just keep him & Richie safe for us please.
  16. To be honest if he can be dropped can you really blame Edinburgh for wanting to drop him he has hardly pulled any trees up and is basically a passenger and as we know you can't afford to carry them for too long.
  17. I still think Ben would have came good don't see the Bach signing making us any stronger in the long term but reading the website seems there was things behind the scenes on Ben's side that swayed the decision. Wish Ben future success wherever he ends up.
  18. I think Jye is a fantastic rider for the Monarchs.
  19. Really you sure about that no two meeting's the same it would be too close to call as they are very evenly matched teams. He has increased his average whilst in third gear not a lot more you can say about that is there.
  20. I may sound like a broken record but Ben Barker will come good too talented not to nobody at Glasgow are concerned as far as i am aware. Average increase for June and he is still hasn't got out off second or possibly third gear. Ben will be staying and once he gets back to his best then the way the other 3 heat leaders are riding then we will be very potent indeed.
  21. Heat 15 fiasco is slightly negating what was a wonderful meeting yes Newcastle may have still got a point but in all 3 re-runs Richard had hit the front and did win the heat when it eventually did manage a conclusion so it makes no difference but it appears even the Referees do not know the rules. It appears the rule was applied correctly yesterday not that i agree with it but correctly nevertheless seems that other referees need a crash course in applying the correct rules, hopefully the Diamonds fans witness a meeting that matches yesterday's wonderful spectacle. Just proves when you put out two evenly matched teams with riders willing to put it on the line then that is what you get superb entertainment both teams deserve plaudits for that.
  22. Come 1st July though Coty will move up as his rolling average will be much higher as his scores this season will impact it more.
  23. Have faith Ben will come good I have no doubts.
