  1. Practice has been cancelled due to rain.
  2. I agree with what you say in principle but while the Polish clubs pay the riders way more than any others they hold the trump card.
  3. You are correct Chalkie, it was mentioned that his race suit was ready, but speaking to his mechanics they commented that he was leaner and fitter than last year so maybe the one they made needs taking in.
  4. They are having a ballot of the FTR riders who are available.
  5. They saw Kildemands score last night and called it off Hope it is rerun before June 2nd.
  6. Rosco was having a long chat with Scott Nicholls at Swindon last night, I wonder if it was about riding for GB again.
  7. The crowd was a bit down on previous weeks but bigger than I thought it was going to be, but that was probably down to the fans wanting to see the return of Peter. It is hard to guess numbers, and I may be way out but I would estimate about 1000.
  8. Would not be surprised to see a guest for Troy at this meeting.
  9. What a meeting of twists and turns, I stated that if all the BV riders did what they were capable of they could get a point. They did get a well deserved point but most of the points came from the second strings and reserves. For Swindon Killer was back with a bang and a winning his first three rides was classic Kildemand. The meeting was close at heat 9 then in heat 10 Nick Morris went between Zagar and Fricke on bend 2 on the first lap and with Batch scored a 5 1, this was followed by another 5 1 from Killer and Kyle in heat 11 to go 10 points up. Scott then did well in heat 13 and again in 15 and with the points from the second strings and reserves BV clawed the score back to get one point. Zengi did very well and it was a shame he had bike problems in heat 8, Nick again showed a lot of speed. Charles Wright had a good meeting scoring 8 from 5 rides, following a good meeting for him at Poole last night. It is obvious that Batch is not yet fit and I wonder if he will be rested and a guest used tomorrow and monday.
  10. Weather fine, has been dry and bright all afternoon and forecast to stay the same later.
  11. Bit of rain this morning and possible light drizzle in the next couple of hours but then should be dry from 6. Very bright and sunny at the moment, can post again before I leave at 5 ish as I have to go somewhere before the meeting.
  12. Another rider that can go well at Blunsdon. Will probably score more than Cook would.
  13. If they disciplined all the top riders and banned them from riding it would not be long before some one like onesport ran an alternative comp.
  14. With BV having riders that have gone well for Swindon in the past, first meeting for Killer at Swindon this year and Batch getting over an injury, this could go either way. But I reckon a Robins win and BV possibly getting 1 point.
  15. Is he busy, standing in the election in Poole
  16. Full lineup and meeting preview http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2421
  17. Very good signing, have always liked Josh
  18. I am going to the speedway as I cannot stand football.
  19. Swindon have Belle Vue visiting tomorrow where Peter Kildemand should be making a return as a temp replacement for Adrian. There is no team news anywhere yet but if both teams have their normal 1 - 7 it should be a good meeting.
  20. Fully agree even though some of the comments had a go at Troy, always enjoy it when Silver Bee is texting.
  21. Hope he goes well as he was not 100% last thurs.
