Another drawn out boring meeting, a couple of good races but that was it. I appreciate it did not help having Tai, Emil and Greg not riding but previous rounds were also not too good, maybe a change in venues is part of the answer. They will have to change things for next year to get people to watch it. The commentators mentioned that any one getting a max received 1 million euros. If the EL has a problem with missing riders show more PL meetings, quite often the ones they have shown have been better than the EL. Share the money between more clubs.

Could not agree more, I had the points required by the top riders after each round and was crossing them off as they could not overtake Tai with the points available. I do not know where the figures the commentators were using came from, but they just confused people. Hell of a shame about the accident for both Tai and Gollob, but what a brilliant performance by NKI. There were a couple of starts he had that I am sure would have caused a restart in the EL. Thoughts are with both injured riders and that Tai's op goes well and he is able to ride in the last GP. .

Get rid of the 2 min clock at the start line. I have spoken to a few referees and most are convinced the riders use the time having arrived at the start to carry out gardening etc right up to the time limit. If allowed another one, on a restart due to tape infringement where all four are allowed back, the pit gates remain shut and the riders should go straight back to the start.

The air fence at Swindon seems to work well as it is attached to a 6ft high mesh fence, both of which give a bit when hit. You do not see riders rebounding across the track.

Agreed, I stopped watching the first one about half way through as it was so boring, the second was a bit better but not a meeting to remember. I will watch on Sat to see if the meeting is any better than the last two as there is nothing else to watch on Sat night that i want to see. So far I have found some of the GPs far better for the racing. .
