If Poole cannot afford PL how on earth can Kent, add to that their curfew on the finishing time, with the request to move the curfew to a later time and change of racing days refused during 2019.

Cannot see Kent moving up, they start their meetings at 6.30 because of the curfew and not being allowed to run late.

Prefer mid April till end of Aug with the playoffs in Sept, 18 weeks of league racing, then playoffs and whatever comp the rest of the league want in Sept

After Ipswich got their win in heat 6 or 9 when he stated that this is the turning point for Ipswich, only for Swindon to get a predictable 5 - 1 in the next heat. Every meeting he gets things wrong, even riders names or sometimes the team riding.

What a great result but one thing that ruined it was the comments by the muppet Pearson. I really hope that any new tv coverage dumps him.

When they showed speedway before they showed a few Championship meetings, some of which were as good or even better than the top league.

They have had enough time to do that but the promoters do not seem to do much promoting, the two main things that did work was having a good meeting and reducing the entry price when they were on tv. Just look at some of the dross we have seen on tv this season which would not have encouraged new or fans who have not been for a while to start going.

One answer to that is to announce which meeting is being televised 30 minutes before the meeting starts

Not sure if anyone predicted the rain at 7 last night but the forecast tonight still shows light rain from 8pm.

The meeting would not have been so late if the teams did not have gaps in the season, anything up to three weeks without a home meeting, during the summer.

Rain is predicted from 8 tonight so if correct will the meeting go ahead or not. With a ten point lead and the Robins showing last night that they can cope with a wet track better than the Wolves riders I can only see us going through to meet Ipswich in the final.
