The injury to Zach is a major blow for Swindon but more importantly for him. He has been steadily improving since the start of the season and has been putting in acceptable scores. I just hope he is comfortable and that he can get over the injury soon.

Then after that you have two meetings against Wolves, still never mind.

A bit of a boring meeting, but only because the opposition as predicted, was poor. Many of the races were won by the Robins in the first lap, often the first bend, as they showed the pirates how to ride. We have had a load of hype about certain Poole riders but last night showed that some of them are overrated. The first race set the meeting up with Jason being behind Hans for the whole race apart from the last couple of meters. All the Swindon riders scored well, but this could only be expected with weak opposition, oh how the mighty have fallen. Swindon are now second in the league, who would have thought that at the start of June, and Poole are heading the other way with two meetings against Wolves and BV yet to come and if KL can get their act together Poole may end up out of the playoffs. It is bad news about Zach injuring his spleen when he fell and I, along with many, wish him well. He has been steadily improving this season and this injury is the last thing he needed.

That is good. Weatherwise, it has been sunny and bright with a good breeze for a couple of hours now.

They might be more dangerous away Steve but if we have no injuries and ride like we have recently we will come away with the points. The only Poole rider that could do well is Hans, but if Jason is on form he will beat him .

Was just going to post the same, you are closer to the track than me but I can just see Blunsdon hill and its own weather as often it can be raining in Swindon a couple of mile from the track but not at the track, and vice versa. The rain forecast between 3 and 5 has now been changed to a light shower, so if that is the case all should be ok.

Probably checking out the Poole riders, who we should be concerned about and who we are not for tonight.

And what is the average number watching a meeting please ?

Also there has been a lot of hyping up of a couple of riders that have not performed as we were told they would.

Weather dry at the moment but overcast, we have had a bit of rain and some is due between 3pm and 5pm with a couple of showers before 3pm. There is a reasonable wind so rain later should not damage the track providing it is not too heavy. Will post again about midday.

You are lucky that Kings Lynn is self destructing other wise Poole would likely end up out of the play off top four this season, and with Poole still to race against BV and Wolves twice each they will need to up their game a lot to stay in 4th place if KL do get their act together.

No it is not certain, but seeing the Robins beat the Pirates yet again, even if it is by 1 point will bring a smile to many, and not only Swindon fans. We have beaten your team 3 times already this year and had 1 drawn meeting and apart from any injuries I see no reason for Swindon to lose this one.
