  1. I seem to remember hearing about a falling out with the Somerset management so I think not, Not certain though. Claus Vissing or Jesper B Monberg would fit well down at Plymouth now they are not included at Somerset.
  2. Shadders, If Masters joins then at least you won't be the only one who loves Somerset at Rye
  3. My reference to Darcy's attacker was not a serious accusation it was a tongue in cheek remark due to his comment on twitter
  4. It is good to see that all the riders last night were prepared to give it their all on a track which had taken such a battering from the elements, and with that in mind it shows what a marvellous job the Scunthorpe track staff did at getting the track into a race able condition, well done to them. Both teams should be proud of what they have achieved this season, I am just sorry that I have not made it to the OTA this year Just a quick question, Looking on twitter I see some rather dark comments aimed at Somerset from Sam Masters and Dakota North and can to a certain extent understand their frustrations at the team but what I don't understand is the comment Hate Somerset coming from Darcy Ward!!!, all I can think is that it was a Somerset fan that smacked him around the head as he has no other reason to say such a thing and was glad to take a booking for them against Swindon at the start of the season.
  5. Best of luck to both teams, lets hope that all the riders stay safe and provide a cracking meeting, I am sure Kenny Smith and Emil Kramer will be having a bet up there and looking down with interest
  6. I think in light of the events surrounding his departure from Somerset Young Sam will give 500% to Scunny
  7. Looking at the motorway traffic camera situated at the exit jcn for the OTA it looks a bit wet, :-( Hopefully it will clear up and you'll enjoy your visit. http://www.bbc.co.uk.../trafficcameras
  8. I have a feeling that with Sam in the side Scunny will take the aggregate win, I hope I'm wrong though. Sam still has to earn a living so riding against the Rebels shouldn't cause any problems surely. Best of luck to both sides and hopefully all riders will have safe meetings.
  9. Tom Perry has been fantastic this season, he obviously had an off night last night but no doubt he gave 100% as usual, I hope Tom is the first name on the 2013 team sheet. Adam Ellis is a talent and he did well last night but I am not sure that over a season he would be head and shoulders above Tom, Great to see a decent English lad burst onto the scene though and I hope he goes onto great things.
  10. Then you could truly say that Speedway has gone to the dogs
  11. I must admit to taking a peek at Twitter and see what your all on about now.
  12. Good post Devildoger, And even though I am the Blindman I can now see your point when it's put like that.
  13. I don't intend on getting into slanging matches, like I have said..you have your opinion and I have mine. Mike Bowden may not be an angel, he may not be the worlds best promoter and you may think he is an arse but he did bring speedway back to Plymouth and that is something we wish someone would do in Exeter. As for Fisher etc being there, I don't understand your comment about why I call myself the Blindman!!!, Ashworth chose not to ride for Plymouth so Fisher was his replacement, what's so strange about that?. I am sure Mike Bowden would welcome your money if you want to buy him out and then we would see how it should be run I guess!!!!
  14. So does that mean that you would prefer no speedway in Plymouth?
  15. Love him or hate him the fact is that if it wasn't for Mike Bowden Plymouth would not have a Speedway team, I don't know anyone else who was brave enough or determined enough to bring the sport back to the city. Mike may not run the business in a way suited to everyone but there are a lot of businesses out there the same and struggling at the moment, I am sure a lot of people could run it better or think they could but until they have the funding in place you'll have to leave it to Mike. Cut him some slack though as he has brought Ben Barker and Ryan Fisher to the club, that in itself is no mean feat. Things may not be perfect but I am sure Exeter would like to be in the same position as Plymouth find themselves at the moment. This posting is of course only my opinion and everyone else is entitled to theirs.
  16. Really gutted for Chris, hope he has a full and speedy recovery
  17. Ben and Ryan are good but to say they are too good for the PL is going a bit far, if they were they would both sport a 12.00 PL Ave and neither of them do, they are both 9+.and are both beaten on a regular basis by other PL riders especially away from their respective home tracks.
  18. I think Plymouth will do ok and wish them well for a good season, The PL is an exciting package this year and so is Barker and Fisher riding together, I don't think any opposition would want to get to close to them when they try to team ride
