a great meeting with some first class racing. these guys have nerves of steel, especially racing sooo close to a concrete wall!! a full house with fans from all over aussie made for a good atmosphere. any news on jim and dale irwin??? they took a crunching fall on the back straight and were carted off to hospital.

really looking forward to this meeting ozyace, should be a cracker. hoping the o'briens can win for W.A but will also be calling for the pinfolds, remember seeing them at coventry a few years ago, they were awesome

namron, hubby works with a guy who was asking about pete bacon, can you believe, seems he knew him when he used to ride and wondered if he was still riding!! he has been here in aussie for 7 years mind thought it was a wierd coincedence....

thanks for answering that ozyace, stats, that'll save us a journey as we much prefer the bikes to cars. lets hope something can be sorted in time for next season as it would be a crying shame for all the youngsters to be without a track, not to mention us fans

ozyace, do you know what they run at ellenbrook speedway, in the northern suburbs???

i heard they wouldn't be running at kwinanna this season due to the cost of competing there, something about the insurance being too expensive compared to the payouts for winning etc etc.....

this is such shocking news and a bolt from the blue. went there for the first time recently and was really impressed with the setup. a super track with fair racing. being new to aussie, was looking forward to seeing plenty of action there but i guess i'll just have 2 get foxtel

just like to say merry christmas to all forum members. have been in aussie land for 9 months now and have really got withdrawal symptoms!!! havn't had a chance to take in any aussie meetings yet but hope to get to bibra lake in the near future. unfortunatly not many places do solos over west. maybe someone could let me know when the next meeting is???
