Me too. Yes there were obvious track issues as we all knew the day before thanks to the forum and twitter etc but at least they got the meeting on and I for one enjoyed the whole day thoroughly.

Do you agree with the decision to hand the wild card to a rider rather than let it be won on merit Phil? I see Scott Nicholls on twitter is not happy about the way the decision was announced through sky and is questioning who is runnng the sport !!!

My argument is not that Bomber has been picked, I would feel the same if anyone else had also. I just firmly believe that the wild card should go to the winner of the British Final and the carrot of the wild card made the racing at the BF a really exciting night.

Is there a logical reason been given for the decision to not give the British Final winner the wild card? It just don't make sense to me at all. The chance to ride at the GP was a huge prize for all the riders of the British Final and I think this decision is a kick in the teeth to all who qualify and yet again will tarnish British speedway in the long run.
