I'm gonna play the devils advocate selfish card here. After attending every meeting at EWR this season and also making several trips away, when I found out the Mrs had booked a weekend away in Barcelona 26th-28th Oct without asking me, to say I was gutted was an understatement. When landing back and arriving home i found out the meeting was off, I guess I was the only Scorps fan who jumped for joy coz I'll certainly be there tonight Only worry is, im North Bank and it's just started to rain heavily near Humber Bridge about 12 miles from the track............not again??

As already mentioned Heat 11 was brilliant. To see Tofty glide round the outside of Wilko off the 4th bend was worth the entrance money alone. It made me shout out whooooo hooooo as they went past, lol. Someone said in an earlier post that reserve could be the difference. Well Scorpions 16-2 Redcar tells you the answer to that. Still can't believe how poor Summers was, couple of Bears fans behind we're slateing him to hell. Onwards and upwards Scorps!!!

Tommy Fenwick, 2 heat wins tonight. The lad has a really bright future. He's certainly working and trying very hard to improve and is getting there week by week. Special mention to young Max Clegg as well, 7 n 1 tonight after scoring 7 n 2 last week. A fantastic double header tonight and well worth the entrance fee.

Another great performance by the Scorpions this evening. As Rob said young Tofty was superb from reserve scoring 13 n 2 and grows in confidence every meeting. Tommy Jorgensen once again flying with 13 n 1. The lads just get better every meeting and without doubt have a real chance of the title this year. It's a pleasure watching them every week.
