I can remember a heat at oxford in 85/86 the heat was started 3 times and 3 times Neil Evitts ran Jens Rasmussen into the fence, after the 3rd time all hell broke lose, the following season Jens (lovely person) was riding for Ipswich against Neil Evitts side , Jens tapped Neil on the shoulder and said to him any funny stuff and your in trouble and Neil Evitts had areal quiet meeting. Jens was a lovely person and my god he was incredibly strong but a true gent

For crying out loud someone tries to help a british rider out and all the negativity starts , if you want to contribute give some if you don't just leave the poor guy alone, No wonder young british talent stuggles to come throu people try to help and get slagged off for it get behind the brits and help them, and before anyone says anything I hope loads is raised for the unfortunate Ricky Ashworth and a lot of the riders should look at themselves for not helping the Ben Fund meeting it started of with lots of star names to pull the crowd in and now it seems to be a burden to have to do.

of course you believe that your a Sheffield fan and obviously a blinkered one as no matter what anyone says or does you will only believe that Swindon are guilty and Sheffield could possibly do no wrong and don't get me wrong here i am no fan of either teams, yours with an open mind

dear oh dear that is your opinion from a Sheffield view, and of course the Swindon view puts the blame on Sheffield, and as i suspect none of us know the true ins and outs of what is really going on i would suggest that what happens will happen and none of us can do anything about it. So perhaps all this inane dribble should be filed in the recycle bin as we will probably never find out the truth, but both teams will carry on in some form of shape and we should all be grateful to have a team to support, unlike some who have now lost theirs to support.

agree with most of what pc says especially about the starts if a rider gets a great start with out touching the tapes and has been stationary at the start fair play to him, next thing they will do is pull it back because someone didn't start as well as the rest
