  1. anyway life is way too short to keep this nonsense going you only have one life get out and enjoy it cos one thing is certain it will end so why get wound up over whether a rider does this or that just enjoy the entertainment they give us
  2. as bwitcher said I am not condoning what you said you where the one that brought Kevin into this I didn't know kevin I only knew his dad and couldn't meet a nicer person when you pick a side to win you pick it on abilities not personalities if you want success
  3. Please leave Kevin and George out of this smashing people , George a great man and was one of my sponsors loved him to bits .
  4. well only way to stop all this robert72 either put up or shut up and let the adults talk now please.
  5. Nope I AM Hobnob cos I take the biscuit!! any who cares who robert72 is we are feeding him with options to reply, whether he is an ex rider we don't know he knows the truth on that one he is either embarrassed at his at his claims of racing world champs or its a load of verbal diarrhoea , he can say who he is but he choses not too (Makes you wonder hum)that's his choice. mind you he could say he is anybody behind a keyboard, lets all move on and talk about something more interesting say like what colour should I paint my hall way and stairs apple green or magnolia?
  6. beautiful aircraft so majestic in flight and an unmistakable sound
  7. well that's a safe bet he isn't going to face woffinden in a month of sundays I have an idea who he really is a Plonker . as for him riding it may be true I once was on a max at Coventry leading my last race last bend and I fell out of bed and woke up
  8. lmao you don't half talk some drivel me thinks BWitcher has got you square to rights
  9. I raced s me too I also rode speedway for a time and also done some car racing too so even more wrong robert
  10. ahh the good old days , doing the old war cries gives a c etc
  11. Dag Lovaas real nice guy and so smooth on a bike loved watching him ride for Oxford Rebels
  12. mmm so you know he wasn't injured because of that , slaps on his back not on his alleged injured shoulder then, mmm and he has to go around like a wet weekend cos of the injury, well he must have had a sick note or the ref would not allow it.
  13. ohhh so bitter and twisted perhaps instead of slagging people off you should ask the rider concerned if he was injured or not
  14. Wouldn't put my faith in Tomlinson minister for the disabled but votes to cut their money , have emailed him repeatably and get palmed off to other people
  15. All this is utter nonsense of course Tai should be in the gb team Bates may be a promising youngster but no way is he ready for world cup action if anything take him as part of the squad so he can watch ,listen and learn frompeople like Tai etc, Not only is Tai our best at the moment also from a commercial side he puts bums on seats . Plus you say about him saying british tracks are dangerous perhaps he has a point or not he does want gb to produce better riders hence him running his training schools . and as Bwitcher says you don't say anything about Scott Nicholls (real nice guy too) saying he didn't want to ride for gb because of what happens behind closed doors in the bspa Scotty is another who wants gb to succeed and I believe wanted changes to help younger riders come throu. As for your riding skills robert72 I don't know but having thrown my leg over a bike or two and at a reasonable standard until injuries dictated otherwise I hold my hat up to every single rider professional and amateur , but I have to agree with Gavans statement love it, esp when you bring Tai's dad Rob into it that is below the belt.
  16. Trying to get hold of oxford cheetahs dvds please pm or msg me thanks
  17. sadly missed, many a laugh with Malc a great person a great rider and most of all a great friend
  18. as an oxford fan I still say Martin Ashby was a great rider in the times when there were many top riders his main fault thou was not being hard enough and was never the same rider after Olsen put him in the fence, but at a team level you would have him in your team every week and as a person a good man very good with kids and fans
  19. remember Oxford away to Coventry one year and Troy Butler was missing for some reason so we had Paul Thorpe guest in place of him, so we had Bradfords no 1 guesting for us with Butler only being a reserve for us (and with Thorpe hatred of Coventry) he got 15 pt max I believe ,ahh was a nice sunny day too
  20. Troy was an absolute legend at Oxford , A real nice guy and a real trier on track a 2 or 3 time aussie champ I think ,remember him wiping out Simon Wigg and Andy Grahame at pre season practice at Oxford when he first came over , we used say that we would super glue him on his bike he came of so much. Remember that 1985 cup final last heat absolute fantastic race ( after john cook took out donkey), and gave Oxford fans plenty of great moments .
  21. LOL razzer was never a dirty rider hard yes but not dirty and if I remember right if knight would have got to razzer it would have been a big mistake by Knight , good cup final thou I remember one night at Oxford 3 times Neil Evitts rode razzer into the first bend fence on the fourth attempt all Hell broke loose , the following season razzer rode for Ipswich and Evitts was on the opposing side Jens tapped Evitts on the shoulder and said no funny business tonight and Evitts didn't ride well all night and scored hardly anything lol
