Does anyone know why Alfie Bowtell didn't ride?

Hi RobDoes the lack of track time come down to sponsorship?

Would love to see Leigh Lanhan ride for Rye again one day.

That's hardly expensive these daye

Leigh Lanham always rides Rye very well

Good luck to the boys tonight, Somerset will be more of a test than last week. Hope Nicolaj is more settled this week, very spectacular to watch.

Well done to the Rockets, know the felling of early injuries to riders. Hope we do well tomorrow evening against Somerset.

Your right, he didnt

I fear our reserve pairing may be a weak link!

Always cold in the evenings at Rye because its close to the river Lea

Looking forward to tonight. Ed rode well last night by the looks of it

Thanks for that

Last three or four years

I hope so too, the atmosphere reels different at Rye, let's hope all the boys have a good season.

Nice to see you and Shads being so positive.

I have been going to watch speedway for long enough to realise that, but they looked really committed on the laps they did, that's all I was trying to say.

Thought the new boys Danyon, Alfie and George looked good today. Robert seems to have lost weight from what I remember of him in the past. Kyle and had one stint of about 5 laps, think he blew an engine, Sam and Luke looked a little nervous maybe because was a little greasy.

Unless I have misunderstood something , interesting that Linus has hinted at Rye going Elite in 2016? Who knows.

We are not a stand alone club at National league level, it would be nice to win something, but these lads need a start, so get behind them. We are reasonably strong 1 to 5, who knows we might surprise some people. I think we need a presence in the MDL.

Hi I live in Hertfordshire and have followed speedway for most of my life. Can anyone tell me if there is a grass track season? If so when does it start? And is there anywhere in and around the area to watch.

Zenon Plech, never new when he was beat, brilliant to watch around the boards at Hackney.

I think the dogs are like speedway, in decline. The new owners are Motorsport people, so who knows.

Hope its not the banger\stock route

Been over to Rye today, there is a lot of work going on to the banking of both bends and a gap has been cut through the bank on the first bend. Maybe the new owners will bring in another use for the stadium alongside the speedway.

Move on!!
