  1. Nb tonight's meeting preview says that Howarth is missing tonight in the hope he is fully rested for Saturday.
  2. Same as Poole have just announced - Poole will run on off-race nights if necessary!!
  3. Don't forget the Birmingham meeting is also rearranged for Weds 14th!! Also Aarnio's season is over.
  4. I'm fairly sure I read somewhere that MPT's season was over!! Maybe on a Panthers thread?
  5. So for Poole as per usual 1-7 subject to no injuries from Thurs/Sat/Mon/Tuesday. For Plymouth I imagine Hans is back, subject to fitness and no Danish commitments. I see the Birmingham Challenge is also rescheduled to next Wednesday so potential guest options for the Gladiators still reduced,
  6. One or two short sharp showers since lunch but sun's out in between and there's a gusty wind. Track looks good.
  7. Is it an appeal? I thought he'd failed both a and b tests and was just awaiting the SCB ruling?
  8. May have been 'dodgy' but within the rules at the time - a bit like Plymouth this season!!
  9. Well Poole would probably get Scott Nicholls for the home meeting?!
  10. Surely many of the 'new' houses were there when the Robins were still racing?! And what are the on site cranes doing today??
  11. Despite the potential for a huge wage bill I would think Danny Ford will be grateful for some income for the first time in 3 weeks after the Riders Championship and Middlo's testimonial on successive Wednesdays?
  12. Danny was sat with Garry May last Wednesday looking for possible guest options. Some were unavailable some wanted more than Plymouth were prepared to pay. Some had simply made other arrangements as their season had finished.
  13. That's correct although someone suggested Basso had a puncture in heat 15?
  14. Actually the latest one for Poole tomorrow suggests only a couple of showers. But a lot will depend on how torrential any overnight rain is. Obviously Poole's location has to be aware of high tides etc but it's looking promising at the moment.;-)
  15. That wasn't meant as a wind up. Danny Ford and Garry May suggested a list of some 12 or so potential guests for the Gladiators most of whom had been tried already or had made other end if season arrangements or simply didnt want to do it!! It was Garry who said it may only be NDL riders that could/would fill the gaps. Any delay in announcing the lineup is probably to keep the attendance buoyant.
  16. As far as the Jubilee league fixtures are concerned, Poole Promoter Danny Ford has stated the plan is to schedule all 3 fixtures within a 7-10 day window!!!
  17. Clearly the postponement announcement didn't reach all supporters then?! Hope the 'queue' doesn't get too drenched!!
  18. You would think that with the Fire brigade turning up when the hay was burning they could turn up again and pump the excess water off?
