  1. So maybe not Sky's decision to call it off - they merely are the first to announce they will not cover it - because its not taking place!! Maybe both teams agreed to postpone to a later date (post 1st May) so they could both strengthen up!!?
  2. The rules state that the first set of averages would be issued on 31st March and applicable for Monday 4th April. They would be updated every 2 weeks thereafter. However for an EDR to be considered for a 1-5 place their MA must be based on 4 meetings (Rule 16.2.7.1. 2x home and 2x away) and would come into effect 7 days after the 4th qualifying meeting.
  3. Sshh you can't criticise the KL track!! Buster's an expert don't you know?!
  4. Woryna's been fairly decent at home surely?!
  5. If the rulebook and initial statements are open to interpretation then I really don't mind if either or both reserves can get into the 1-5 if their scores/averages allow.!! But that's not what the riders or the clubs currently understand.
  6. Exactly as I said in post #73. Although quite why the word 'blame' is used I don't know?! Many are up in arms that tonight's Robins v Bees fixture is going ahead with 3 guests rather than Coventry being 'blamed' for calling it off?! Maybe there's a difference in relationships between the respective promotions?!
  7. Maybe check out this week's Speedway Star interview instead then!!!
  8. I'm against full-meeting streaming, whichever platform is used, BUT if the BSPA are so protective of their contract with SKY/GSI then SKY/GSI should be responsible for producing some sort of 'whizz-bang' promotional highlights video for every club to be able to personalise to their own club websites, local events/venues and social media options (those that utilise them?!) # I wonder at the recent BSPA fans forum, how many fans raised this topic as one of the major issues facing the sport from a fans' perspective?!
  9. You be careful quoting the Echo, C4G - some don't like it up ,em!!! :-)
  10. Accurate though - on this occasion!! That's why I posted the link - so you could still get the facts!!
  11. Have I missed the BSI announcement that they are withdrawing their invitation to the British Final winner to be the wildcard at Cardiff yet?? again?!! ;-) Or are we still waiting...........................................................................
  12. So the British Final moves away from Wolves ---- and Woffy decides he doesn't want to compete!! Surprise surprise.
  13. Maybe read the article from today's Bournemouth Echo?! www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway
  14. Swindon management not to blame for this. The international list received by clubs a day or so before Poole agreed to the rearranged fixture, was incomplete and did not include the Polish Golden Helmet fixture involving Buczkowski. Poole were prepared to go ahead without Ellis but not with 2 riders missing.
  15. Well Adam Ellis is under no illusions about his position this season. Why not ask him yourself when he guests for the Lions at Lakeside on Friday!? Alternatively you can always check with Paul Starke.
  16. I wonder what sort of reception (and how many points) Hans will get when guesting for KK at Blunsdon on Thursday?!!
  17. Surely that means 'the one with the highest starting MA in the original list' - as was announced in the earlier BSPA statement and means the Tier 1 EDR?!
  18. So its not anti Ford or anti Poole yet you choose to make your anti Elite comments on a Poole thread. Let me just check the Lakeside v Kings Lynn thread after the 56-36 'hammering' on Friday for any similar comments?! Oh guess what - not a sign of anything similar nor any threads started by you about the EL and 'how bad you believe it to be'?! ps. I hope you enjoyed the Ippo v Scunny meeting!
  19. Tier 1 and tier 2 reserves can ride at either 6 or 7 (Team Manager's choice) - as happened in the Elite shield meeting with Newman and Bates both riding at 7. Only the Tier 1 reserve can qualify for the 1-5 if averages allow after every 4 meetings.
  20. Dave Watt confirmed in interview at Poole yesterday that the commentary will be in English! www.clayperview.com Davey's girlfiriend, Joanna, works at the Torun club and has been fully involved with this initiative with the full backing of Torun.
  21. You will also know then how upset Mark Loram was with Norrie that he didn't allow a deal to be done!!
  22. Do leave off with your uninformed clap-trap gavan. There was some superb racing and passing despite the one-sided scoreline. Bumper sunshine crowd, bumpy first turn but only one Swindon heat advantage.
  23. Helluva foul-mouthed bust up in the pits at the end between Rosco and Morris. Maybe the kid should get some sleep instead of playing games on his computer half the night/morning - or so I was told!!!!
  24. Poole: Holder; Kurtz; Watt; Andersen; Buzckowski; Ellis; Newman. Swindon: Doyle; Sedgman; Graszjonek; Tungate; Morris; Wright; Neilsen
