Brilliant work by BSPA, about time but credit when it's due.. Why? Because a few on here couldn't add 2 plus 2 and get 4 with the help of an abacus... A businessman starts to feel the pressure as his company's not making a sustainable turnover. He thinks I'll go buy a top top quality rider who I have no way of paying but at least Joe Public will get what he cries for. Then said businessman man panics a year later as the wolf's at the door. Oh S#@T says businessman I need to keep old Joe happy so I'll borrow some cash from someone. Joe's happy again cos now he's got 2 of the best riders around in his side. AAAARRGGHHH DAMN.. No more sky income, sponsors aren't as readily available. Mr Business man says to BSPA tell you what I've got a plan that may save me from bankruptcy and keep speedway alive for another year... Of course Joe whining Public will still have something to moan about but what the he'll. Speedway needs youngsters watching and riding, this kills 2 birds with 1 stone... Oh no cries Joe Public what you mean I won't be spoilt, well that's no bother as I'll behave like a 3yr old throwing a tantrum and say I won't go to my local track I'll just whine on here, what the hell it's not my money. Unfortunately it was too late for the Panthers but for the rest let's hope the plan made by the committee of businessman will succeed and speedway continues to evolve.

Wakey wakey time for the minority of Muppets... Speedway needs to evolve, which unfortunately is not the case in British speedway at present. Riders come and go, Sky, EUROSPORT they'll come and go. The fans will stay, but what will entice us? New rules we argue about, New riders who we'll disagree over who's better, pretty much everything according to the posts on here..... Instead of arguing (sorry discussing with very different opinions) shouldn't' we all be looking at ways of making the sport we love evolve? If so.. let's bloody well do it.

Thanks to all. As for publicity, any is better than none. Be interesting to see if the world champ who raised a lot of money for charity will get a mention on BBC sports personality at the end of the year. I've seen lesser known waste of space footballers get one.

Did nobody at all actually see him ride the past 5/6/7 years and thought this kid will win a world title? I watched him at Mildenhall for Rye sxxthouse and the lad destroyed everyone. You see them and know they'll be awesome. Woffinden at Rye, Ward at Lynn. Apparently there's a boy doing laps at Mildenhall and rides in Germany who's better than both previously mentioned and at only 14. Anybody know who he is?
