  1. I remember Robbo's crash at Mildenhall back in 2007, from the moment he hit the fence to the moment he was moved (Around 2 hours later) he was motionless, everyone at Mildenhall, I'm sure shadders will agree everybody knew how bad the injuries were. Last night was something a whole lot worse, IMO the way the situation was handled was wrong! The whole stadium was in shock as you know from the pin drop silence around the place, everyone left that stadium devastated at what they have just seen. The shouting from the track staff made everything worse for fans as well not sure if ushering fans out of the stadium without any update was wrong (Not a full doctors report but something), just something of reassurance for the fans, fellow riders ect. I know I was not the only one fearing the absolute worse when it happened and watching the air ambulance land really turned the stomachs. I wish Simon a speedy recovery.
  2. Stead and Compton normally go well round Rye, bates good for 6+ at reserve, apart from that should be pretty straight forward.
  3. If you won the Leauge Cup i'm sure your opinions about it would change.
  4. Plymouth Skillsgroup Devils: 1. Ryan Fisher, 2. Sam Simota, 3. Jack Holder, 4. Morten Risager, 5. Kyle Newman ©, 6. Ashley Morris, 7. Luke Chessell (G) Rye House ReStart Rockets: 1. Edward Kennett©, 2. Nikolaj Jakobsen R/R, 3. Anders Mellgren, 4. Steve Boxall, 5. Robin Aspegren, 6. Oliver Greenwood (G), 7. James Sarjeant (G).
  5. I mean reach 60... Doughnut Then again they were woeful at Rye last night!
  6. I feel for Plymouth they got taken apart at Rye last night. It's only gonna be a 60PT win for Peterborough.
  7. Graverson and Sarjeant are good guests IMO, a bit of dirt on the track will help us big time. Should be a win for the Rockets.
  8. Sargeant @ Coventry Ellis @ Lakeside Clegg @ Edinburgh Stefan Nielsen @ Coventry Covatti was possible but don't rate him much.
  9. See if there's any improvements @ Swindon tonight for Boxall.
  10. Vissing, Robin will score well round the OTA. Busk I'm pretty sure will score decent wherever he goes. Mellgren will always get you 6-8 Pts. Boxall you don't know what your going to get and reserves will struggle.
  11. 1. Josh Grajczonek 2. Leigh Lanham 3. Richie Worrall 4. Charles Wright 5. Brady Kurtz 6. Paul Starke 7. Benji Compton 1. Claus Vissing (G) 2. Robin Aspegren 3. Anders Mellgren 4. Steve Boxall 5. Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen 6. Dan Greenwood (G) 7. Alex Edberg (G) Expecting a long night for the rockets.
  12. Last season Alex Edberg rode at Somerset for Berwick and scored 1PT from 4 rides...
  13. Ashley Birks is riding for Sheffield, so Lakeside will need a replacement at 7.
  14. A Few Comments: Stadium: Firstly, it rained hence the puddles in the car park and in the stadium. Secondly, people complaining about the stadium, we were told that stadium improvements were ongoing until mid-season (Probably longer). If anybody was expecting to go to rye house and have anything ripped out, grandstands put in down the back straight, relayed car parks, the dog track having been tarmacked already, toilets/bar done-up, then welcome to a place you have clearly never been before... the real world! The stadium will look very good when it is finished but will take some time, we were told that. All of the changes listed above will be completed by the end of the season- beginning of the next, give them a chance, thing's will get worse before they get better. The Programme: Slightly overpriced... (A disgrace I agree), i could have just brought a piece of paper with me. So programme needs to be looked at. But at the same time did it's job, simple and effective. The Team: Looked smart Rode well 3 points on the board Job Done! Robert Branford- Only beaten by the ref Sam Woods- Battled hard-gained some well earned points. Luke Priest- Good out the gate- experienced- Scored well Luke Chessell- Rode extremely well, much improved, Captain lead by example. Kyle Hughes- Equipment let's him down, but otherwise very good Reserves- Young, Inexperienced, will improve, give them a chance. Mildenhall: Danny Halsey- Average as he's always been. Liam Rumsey- Hope he's okay Connor Mountain- Good prospect, rode well Jack Kingston- No Comment Connor Coles- Impressed, steady rider Reserves- Rode well, picked up good points, will improve. The Meeting: It's the national league falls will happen, it will take longer, the track was a bit greasy to start with but improved. Andrew silver or whoever did the track did a very good job. On the whole (Apart from Heat 1+2) promising, decent racing and some passing (Elite Legaue take note).
  15. I don't see why we don't use Robert Branford, he's part of our NL team and is riding in the second meeting anyway, saves money on travel... Does that not make more sense? Or is it just me?
  16. Best example I could get from this season I'm afraid, scored well at Berwick last year.
  17. Fair point, if Panthers fans show season tickets or something they would be allowed in for £16 I agree.
  18. Only £4 extra for another meeting, the National League can produce some decent racing!
  19. Very good round Peterborough for rye a couple of weeks back, dropped 1pt from 3 rides then a 2M exclusion in his other.
  20. I'm think (not 100%) sure he's guesting at Swindon for you on Thursday in place of Birks.
  21. Any Lakeside fans how did Steve (Boxall) ride?
