  1. League competition may take priority over cup competitions (Just a thought)
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong but Everytime I've seen Adam Ellis around Rye he's been woeful! The same goes for Zac W. Despite a good track record round Rye BWD I think will struggle at 2. On the other hand Grondal will be a weapon at reserve as all Rye fans will know from last season. Doyle, Morris and Bellego will all score very well. Going for a Rye win by 5-10
  3. I think it would be harsh to sack both reserves. Clegg is riding at number 6 and is having to face some quality riders in each meeting, moving him to number 7 would mean he would have 2/3 races each meeting where he would be against riders that he is capable of beating especially at home. Greaves is clearly out of his depth but who realistically is going to come in on a 2 point average (That's available) and set the world on fire. Wolves would surely need to sacrifice a big hitter eg Skornicki to free up some points to give you a more solid outfit.
  4. Kennett- Average too high for PL Lykke- YES (Second String) Mellgren- NO Definitely not! Boxall- 6.15 average so Maybe (Second String) NBJ- Number 5 Bowen- If below 4 point Average then yes Maassen- No thank you Robin- No thank you
  5. Been to Rye House for a Premier League meeting for the last time this year. Turn up to a NL meeting for £10 and we are presented with a fighting team, good entertainment and a well prepared grippy track. Turn up to a PL meeting for £16 and we are presented with a Slick dusty track and a poor team with the exception of a few. Don't get me wrong Steve Boxall is no world beater and isn't going to score bucket loads of points, but was increasing his average on last year and scoring half decent points every week-- Steve gets injured, at this point we have arguably the best reserve in the league in Robin. So Len Silver comes up with the bright idea to bring in some German who couldn't buy a point let alone score one, also meaning Robin is moved into the main body of the team- That's losing a good 10 points per meeting if not more. We then sack Dan greenwood who had won a couple of heat 2's and beat Lasse Bjerre in HT 1 at Redcar and also chipped in with a few points here and there. Struggling yes- But then replacing him with Luke Bowen... Really- Why? How is that helping? Like the start of the year not scoring many points. So another inspired signing by Len. The Track- It's poor week in week out! Slick and Dusty- for the team we've got a gripping track would be much more suited, as seen a few times earlier in the season. Robin can't ride slick tracks- no wonder he's struggling! Back to Danny Maassen- Len's quote "He's trying" Yeah I would try and i'm still waiting for my call up? Got to feel sorry Eddie, NBJ and Mellgren who are scoring points every week and have nothing behind them to back up their efforts.
  6. Not a chance it was going to be ON it absolutely spanked it down this afternoon. Roads in Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Hoddesdon all flooded.
  7. Steve Boxall aggravated a previous shoulder injury No Kasper Greenwood 1+1 50-42 not a bad result
  8. Question- As Peterborough have Blackbird and Allen out, do you use a guest for the higher or lower average?
  9. Thank you for your concerns and care but no I do not have any learning difficulties.
  10. A Plymouth win leaves Rye House top of the southern group.
  11. Rye House: 1. Edward Kennett 2. Robin Aspgren 3. R/R 4. Steve Boxall / Guest 5. Busk 6. Dan Greenwood 7. Kasper Lykke Redcar: 1. Lasse Bjerre 2. R/R 3. Matej Kus 4. Adam Roynon 5. Stuart Robson 6. Rafal Konopka 7. Ben Morley
  12. Let's face it Peterborough's history isn't all Glory Glory...
  13. Steve Boxall out for a further 3 weeks with 3 broken ribs.
  14. Steve Boxall out for a further 3 weeks with 3 broken ribs.
  15. Without Boxall, Robin and Mellgren I'm over the moon this ones off, you Glasgow fans can have your 3 points later in the season.
  16. Kasper Lykke is aiming to ride in the Danish League tomorrow and making a return to the rockets team at Redcar on Thursday. Steve Boxall also aiming a return at Redcar on Thursday.
  17. Todd Kurtz is on a flight to the UK as we speak (Apparently) .
  18. Kent SLYDE Kings 1. Ben Morley 2. Danno Verge 3. Aaron Baseby 4. Danny Ayres 5. James Shanes 6. Jamie Couzins 7. Adam Sheppard Cradley Heathens 1. Max Clegg 2.Arron Mogridge 3.Matt Williamson 4. Luke Harris 5. Nathan Greaves 6. Michael Neale 7. Ellis Perks Should be an away win for the Heathens, they look far to strong at reserve for the Kings.
  19. We need Boxall and Lykke back ASAP or we could find our season over very quickly!
  20. Lakeside website states Steve Boxall hopes to be fit for Friday night so could ride on Thursday.
  21. Highly doubt Boxall will ride, no reserves, not looking forward to seeing this scoreline.
