  1. Exactly my view to. It is so laughable all these people sucking up to him at the end of the day. He is just a speedway rider, a very good one but that's it !!!!
  2. He missed the last two months of the season so not much of a ban really is it ? FIM are doing there job correctly, yes slow but the same for everyone at the end of the day.
  3. It is really sad to see how so many idolise the chap for doing wrong. It sums up what I have thought for many years about the average speedway fan lol.
  4. Lets face it a lot of the Aussies are not really good enough or warrant being here. The place should go to a Britsh, Euro first.
  5. You are wrong i believe. This is the normal time frame for this type of event. No quicker or slower than other cases. Why would speedway be any different to others ?
  6. Indeed if you want to move to Aus you have to take an English test, Bloody cheek. They are one of the worst just like the USA so why should we just open the door for them !!!!
  7. Yes as I said but it should stay above the rings unless serious overfueling.
  8. Maybe the promotors could buy a few tins and put in a pan on a BBQ on each bend to give the fans the smell ???? lol. Castor oil is a very good lubricant and the latest type produced by companys like Maxama are very good indeed. The problem with caster oil is it goes off quickly when exposed to the atmosphere and if left goes like jelly then rock. It is also a dirty oil which is not so bad in speedway as it is changed every few races and the engines are serviced often, which cures the problem of it going sticky and carbon deposits building up. However modern synthetic oils have a far better viscosity range are clean oils and lubricate as good as a castor but without all the bad side effects. There are also good and bad synt oils out there. I do believe castor does not wash off as easy as synthetic with methonal fuel which is one plus. If it were me riding I would perhaps run the Maxama castor but as I say the modern top make oils are xilent. Main wear I believe is the bikes having the nuts reved off them from cold in the pits. Any oil does not lubricate properly until it reaches 85/90 and its best operating temp of 100. Also new oil does not lub at its best until it has been used so changing the oil after 4 races in some ways is worse than leaving it a bit longer. With a proper oil pump and system, proper warm up and warm down as air cooled would increase component level greatly.
  9. As I said before he has no right to lodge a claim and even if he did he would be stupid too. Then again he has proved himself this one more than one occasion. Would that not come under a drugs offence ????
  10. Would you run your car on Castor oil ????
  11. If that's the case take the two months from 2014 and 6 months from march so he should be riding from the 1st of September.
  12. Don't think you can you use speedway and tax in the same sentence.
  13. I 100% agree with this. If we wish to work in Aus or the USA it is a nightmare so why should they just breeze in. They are not EU members so they should abide by the rules. Well said.
  14. Yes they do !!!! They go out of business like any as they are badly run and most of the cash coming in goes out and not into the business. The brum promoter pissed every one off so no one turned up, not rocket science is IT !!!!
  15. But riders wages wont drop even if there costs do. Same for promoters, I know a few and they all do very well out of speedway. Don't forget this is a cash industry for both I know a lot of riders who do well from the cash side and benefit in kind which is never declared. Anyway back to the engine, run them on unleaded, save a lot of problems and hassle
  16. engines and costs have nothing to do with people through the gate. speedway is dying as 99% of young people have no interest in it and never will. speedway is a cheap sport to do and the riders do ok out of it mostly. yes you can make a reliable engine and if riders cant afford to or get into speedway don't bother and do something else.
  17. On another side if you cant afford to do a sport why try to ???? I would like to drive F1 but cant afford the car. The cost of speedway is not that expensive compared to others.
  18. And that is something he has proved he cannot DO !!!!
  19. He would be stupid to take the FIM on as they could cause him major problems for years if they wanted to.
  20. Is it twit for tat in all the delays he caused them with his lame excuses ?
