  1. 1986 and the first season of Bradford after the move from Halifax. It was April as Kenny Carter was still with us and started with a Saturday night defeat at Cradley Heath 41-37 which was actually better than normal for the time. We'd gone on the supporters coach and it arrived back in Bradford after 1am. The next morning we had to be back I think for 8am as we were away at SWINDON. It's a fair trek to Blunsdon from Bradford and was an afternoon match. If I recall correctly it started to rain as we went past birmingham and never stopped. The coach got to SWINDON and it was off. TBF Swindon let us in the stadium and we got a tea/cofffee from them before we set off back on the long haul back to Bradford. A long 2 days, but we got 1 match.
  2. R/R for Wright. Is it only Zagar, Brennan and the reserves who can take his rides?
  3. Backed Sheffield at 7/4. Think it's way too big.
  4. There's quite a bit been said about the Belle Vue 123 being due to home track advantage? I get that these lads have ridden there more, but with so few clubs in the league, it's not as if the track is a mystery to the rest of the lads. They've all ridden there many times in their own right. TBF Danny King should have been top 3 but he was on the slowest bike all day, however whose fault was that?
  5. Cheers Rob. So basically Craig Cook in for Danyon Hume and they've kept the riding order. August 1st line up 1. Connor Mountain 2. Leon Flint 3. Chris Harris 4. Steve Worrall 5. Kyle Howarth 6. Dan Bewley 7. Paul Starke 8. Danyon Hume 9. Charles Wright 10. Lewis Kerr 11. Richard Lawson 12. Richie Worrall 13. Danny King 14. Scott Nicholls 15. Adam Ellis 16. Tom Brennan.
  6. Thornblom is in the team, not reserve. Might be harder than it sounds 4 points.
  7. Always hard when your juniors can't score. Kvech is doing his job. They have to try and keep to a maximum 12 point difference.
  8. He could've, but went for a blast and not enough grip to keep him from hitting the fence. Admit it wasn't a great look, but I think it was genuine.
  9. Give over fenced himself. Agree they should award it , but that doesn't happen in poland.
  10. This 3rd/4th match is just a TV obligation imo. No real need for it but fills air time.
  11. I had a few quid on Lampart so I had a fair shout. Swidnicki is very good around Czestochowa, Miskowiak is pretty good everywhere.
  12. Is this 2 semis and a final? Top 2 through and next 4 in a semi? Straight 20 heats? Cheers.
