Surely he would only get his brothers packet rice if he went to uncle lens
-
yes I guess so and I was going to say racing incident. It might be yet on the return to Arlington though!
-
Surely they should have shut off then rather than keep going? He was probably trying to move them out wide to let Powell through
-
Maybe SCB is Richie Worrall? Or maybe Steve trying play annoying Brother??
-
Are you doing this for the other 2 leagues? quite liked these last season!

Swindon Robins V Leicester Lions 02/06
Alex2000 replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well done to Leicester today. They deserved that (without Kurtz maybe not) but what's going on with Watt, although not his worst score tonight still nothing like he was in the past. Think Leicester could have done better than to sign him right now. -
Still going on about the tracks?? Give it a rest already. Knowing Jubilee clip he will get you some lessons in track grading!!!!!
-
I wouldn't complain about waj he is second season speedway and is a solid number 1. 10 points is more than some of the other number 1s in the league and he is coping much better than I expected him to
-
It appears so and just for the record maybe you should have made Gasbloke do it as he was the one that said cottham couldn't ride!!!

Very funny Jubileeclip! I didn't think you would take my comment quite so literally Very funny Jubileeclip! I didn't think you would take my comment quite so literally

How do you know perks was smiling?
-
Get me a bike then and I'll give it a go!
-
Strange really gone from leading and beating decent riders to falling when scoring like at Coventry. Powelldefinietly has it in him but doesn't like high pressure from behind
-
Ultimately we have some of the better of the worst reserves which will do us until later in the season. After that Brennan and E. Spiller can take over if needed which it probably will be and they should make the playoffs interesting should we make it. If we don't they will be saved for next season.
-
Bit unfair on Gary there Gasbloke. As he can ride a bike and has had several good seasons in the past. and please if you believe you can do better please take the place of one of the reserves
-
I bet you you're not

Some laughable comments on Eastbourne Facebook. In response to the appeal for fundraising to get Gary cottham a new bike someone wrote " maybe it first should put their hands in their pocket"! Hmm good job you don't negotiate sponsorship we would be dead and buried by now.
-
Agree with what you say Greyhound and I believe Cradley will come through their rough patch to make the playoffs as they are strong at home just need to maybe switch reserves about a bit to get going away. Whatever they have done to Luke Chessell needs doing to their reserves he is a different rider this season

Are crowds certainly aren't anything to shout about. I'd say 1,000 was our best at the last meeting last season and on a good day say Brum are in town or our friends across the boarder in Kent are in town we would get between 600-850 but some days can be terrible. For example this Saturday there will be the "150 supporters that were at rye house" -
Have to say even I know that NL prefer bald tracks as its easier to turn and control a bike than a heavy dirt filled track I am sorry but were you at the Mildenhall and IOW home meetings? There was no such thing as racing when the track had grip on it only Ellis ran it and even he was fighting. I have to agree you have it all the wrong way around. I don't expect you were at the fans forum when we started in the NL but Martin Dugard the master himself said a slick track is better for NL racing otherwise the riders will come off the bends with bags of speed and bin it at somepoint. I think you may remember last week the top dogs had a deep and bumpy/ rutty track and look what happened to them!

He is referring to the gold cup final last year which effectively was a play off.
-
Stick a R/R against Gary Cottham as well! This should be good. Last time we were in town Wood was flying around here and Williamson is in form and was here all last season. Perks is just starting to come good and Knight will be up for a few. However I do think reserves will be out classed ( or more like I know) even though Powell did well there for Brum last year. I'll go a home win by 50-40 or there abouts

It is a good point as there were a couple of meetings where the crowds did drop and the racing wasn't that good at all. However on the same note there have been some meetings with massive crowds and better racing. Of course that's the problem with the league there are 3 or 4 other clubs like Eastbourne that have competitive sides and It'll pull crowds but others won't like this weekend I don't expect a big crowd. I think secretly our promotion want up a league -

That will only happen after wood has matured and Brennan is ready to step up. I think the only possibility of it happening is 2017 when Brennan wants to move up -
We all know NL like a pretty much bald track to ride except the talented few. So why strip a track when it can be done with bikes in a meeting before hand?
