No I haven't as we have only been in the NL 1 season and he only rode half of last season. If you look at Andrews he was going nowhere in 2013-2014 but the right guidance from the Dugards has made him a much better rider. There is no reason for Hughes to struggle either he made a comeback last season made it to be one of the best number 5s in the league from being a second string level rider. He can easily adapt to a harder league because maybe you don't see it at your club but everyone at Eastbourne is there to get the best out of the riders. If he drops to 8.00 I will be surprised. And don't forget Come June the Spillers should be available....

Hughes won't drop his average neither will Knight. They didn't rate us last season.
-
Hughes started last season on 6 something ended it on 8.67 so this year with even better guidance in the Dugards there is no reason why he won't become one of the top number 1s
-
Maybe but that's not what the club told us.

Georgie Wood first sat on a speedway bike in January 2015 and he did even better! Got nothing to lose signing an unknown and I prefer that rather than a notorious non improver of a 3pter

Tht had unavoidable delay with mason breaking a leg didn't it!!!

Just putting it out there that Saul Bulley has ridden Eastbourne a few times including what looks like last years P&P or open practise session. Also looks like he has links with Somerset who Eastbourne seem to be linking with at the moment. https://www.facebook.com/BDMC-Racing-816508375073015/?ref=profile I believe he is 15 maybe 16. Although I didn't think much of him last year at the championship of sussex I think it was I wouldn't be surprised if he is a possibility.
-
they will do well, but they won't double their average quite. They will get to 4.5 or 5 at best I reckon
-
I think what he is trying to say is they have signed riders that have peaked and are on their way down....
-
It makes no difference then does it weather he gated and was passed or Basford was on the centre green they might as well be standing in the car park as it wouldn't change their scores! as for the rest of them, Mason will finish on a 5 Bowen a 10 and the rest will add 1 point maybe 2 if they are lucky.
-
Hopefully he will do the MDL isn't there a training track somewhere that Len silver has something to do with or is that me going mad? Iwade that's it. But that won't help them ride their own track
-
Just out of interest how is signing for Kent as number 8 going to do him any good? I mean you are only allowed to use your stadium once a week and there is barely ever time after the meeting to have a ride. Tbh he could have done worse than sign for somewhere like Rye or Eastbourne which gives him more track time.
-
So nothing creditable really
-
Richard Andrews beat Morley round Kent multiple times so don't underestimate him. I can't see Clifton doing that much. 4.5 rider at most. I think Kelsey Dugard is a better choice as an upcoming rider rather than someone who has taken 10years out and knows they won't ever get any higher. Exactly in his day not 10 years out of date!

Thats what me thinks
-
#skiing- he would be no good in a speedway race on skis. BTW what is his average his PL (did he ride Pl?) converted or NL?
-
If you have seen my past posts I've seen on Verges Instagram feed he said he will be back at Kent next season
-
Nah I don't think so

Jacobs Verge and Mason I'm thinking

I think Mitch Godden is the best of the three however I think he is a bit older than the others in contention. Not even sure if he would be interested in doing it full time. I think Tom Brennan will get the number 8 spot. Godden is a grass tracker and we know we like that type...http://youtu.be/_T2mA7cbMTk Godden riding at Eastbourne 2014 winter Bradley Wilson Dean was the worst kept speedway secret

Kyle Hughes to Eastbourne...
-
same as Hughes if not just slightly higher
-
Another guess correct! He's got some decent scores everywhere he has been but didn't record many 1st places at Arlington. I think for once I'm more worried about his home form being slow to pick up rather than away. Saying that he beat Brad at Arlington. But I'd take Hughes over anyone making a comeback at least we know he will perform well. Also he's ridden a few big tracks including IOW so they must be trying to bridge that gap that we had last season.

Must have been going on holiday to Eastbourne
