Anyway not everyone has to go to the top, not everyone has to be Craig cook or Tai woffinden. Anyone who rides a speedway bike deserves respect because they risk their lives for our entertainment. without the likes of Hopwood there would be no competitive National League.

More so that now there is a way up in the sport and he wasn't picked to do it he will want to prove he is good enough this year in the hope a pl team picks him next season. I really hope it works out as he is key to our side next season.

He's putting so much effort in over the winter training everyday and I believe grading equipment so we will see.

He has a similar average to all the number 5s bar Morris. He had decent scores almost of our meetings last year on a parr with Brad at some of them except the wet meetings where he scored badly. He will be better than Armo and Atkin and Carr which he has proved by beating them last season. Anyway if he is bad we will just have either a very good second string or if he's like you say he will be an unbeatable reserve. If he's found the level he can ride at good for him.

Doubt he will be the worst. If it was the same statement for number 1 I'd agree. But he will do well like last year.

I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket, I think Cradley have put a decent side together. Some other teams remains to be seen.

If he wants to keep us guessing it has to be a 3.00 reserve

It's unlikely as we need another of our old team and I'm not sure Powell counts

With the riders we have + another 3 point reserve and Adam Ellis leaves 3.96 to play with. So it would work but only with 2 of our old team unless you call Powell or dare I say strudwick one of our old squad.

I don't see why people can't just wait. I think it's obvious the next signing will be announced around Christmas and then the other 2 after the new year

All our riders are in place but I think it will be Andrews. We have to have an 8+ rider so no place for Owen.

Have you been to Eastbourne? (other than with Birmingham?) must have just been your team that didn't like racing there! Anything is better than nothing with the state of the sport now
