Danny Ayres has inside knowledge of the ins and outs of the running of Rye House, I don't think he would touch them with a barge pole!

I wouldn't be surprised if Alfie Bowtell leaves Rye as Andrew was a big influence on him & he has clearly missed his support. As Andrew is no longer aloud at the stadium I wonder if Kent might be in the pipe line for Alfie?

I think it's sad that the Silvers have been pushed out but I suppose if Len sold up in the first place hee was lucky to get another year there. I hope Andrew still stays involved as he had a very popular & successful training school. Maybe he will help out at Iwade? That would be a steal for them & Rye Houses loss.

Ive got a feeling Paul that the farewell was probably out of his hands. I have feeling the current promoters are not easy people to work alongside of. Still nothing on the Rye site, just shows again how unprofessional they are. Be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Careful what you wish for, I am not a fan of the old fool but team BMR are not speedway people & Steve is a disaster waiting to happen, without any experienced speedway personnel there I fear for your future.

Taken from the Kent Kings website at their end-of-season presentation night:- Co-promoter of Kent Speedway, Len Silver gave a rousing message to the fans spelling out how ambitious the club is for the future of the sport in the county, Our ultimate plan for this club is to have a Kent team elevated into the Elite League (thats the top division in the country) and in addition to that, to run a National League team alongside it; that is our plan. There are obviously 't's to be crossed and 'is to be dotted, but I personally think that is what will happen and I will stay involved in the whole promotion as will Roger Cearns, our stadium owner. It will make this club the most exciting Speedway club in the whole country and thats what we have to look forward to. Silver continued, I have to tell you that its not all cast in stone at this stage. There are a few hurdles to overcome at the moment. However we are hoping that the future will make things better still, so that all of the things we need to do to make this club the greatest in the land we will be able to do. So Im definitely looking forward to next year.

Me too, would love for the Raiders to get something from this season. Lets hope that John Sampford, Len Silver or the other 3 or 4 different managers they have had since Andrews departure think they deserve any credit, 2015 is all Andrews hard work. Come on Raiders do it for Andrew & Mia.

At the beginning of the season we was going to have a grass bank (now weeds) Draft Beer (still cans) Stands along the top of the bank on bends 1/2 (hasn't happened) My Wifes complained about the toilets leaking several times (still leaking) I just want some faith In what the management is telling me & not empty promises. Also I've seen Steve Web down at Sittingbourne the last 3 weeks, is he still at Rye as well or has he been binned too?
